Welcome, Chatterboxers, to the new Kyngdom board! You'll notice a few things have changed. We hope these changes will make it easier for both longtime and new users to participate in the story.
First, we've asked Dr. Sheepshank from Cypher Labs to comb through all the threads and put together a summary and history of the Kyngdom story so far. You’ll see that in the "Story So Far." He'll continue adding to it as the story grows.
Second, we've reduced the number of active threads. The only active threads will be the ones you see on the main page. These threads (many of which are inspired by your ideas!) will help us keep the story organized.
Third, to keep the story manageable, you will no longer be able to start your own new threads on the main page. A smaller number of threads will be easier for everyone to digest, and it will be more obvious where the action is happening, and what the action is. You can still create role-play (RP) threads on the Kyngdom RP Board.
Don’t worry! Your old threads are not gone. You can still read them in the Kyngdom Archive, but you will no longer be able to comment on them.
We hope you like the changes. If you have any suggestions for new threads, new groups you want to form, or general questions for us, feel free to comment below.
We've had an exciting few months building and growing Kyngdom. We love all the ideas you are bringing to this adventure. Have fun, and happy writing!

Hey Editors/Admins,
Do you think you can recreate the Let's get started thread? You don't have to do all the comments, just the actual thread. It would make a place for stories and would separate the backgrounds and the mission ideas. It's just an idea, you don't have to do it unless you want to, but I think it wouldd be helpful in organization, and also if you are looking for things to publish for the magazine you can look in one place!

Often, for some unknown reason that we can't correct, a first reply to a comment sends the thread to a back page. Then people submit a Top comment, which, when posted brings the thread back to the front page.

Greetings!
I'm Icy and I like using words that nobody else uses just because they're old-fashioned, too much to say, or just not fit for a casual conversation. But besides that-I have a question. Are you ready?
It's not for the Editors.

It's for the Buggies/CBers! Surprise!
Before reading this, read my story in the Gryphon Encounters. (Yes, I know, I'm always promoting my story, but this will make much more sense if you read that story first) Have you read it? Good. Now, here's my question:
What should I do next? I feel so self-centered by asking this question, but it's true. I normally post a new segment of my story each day, but today I'm pretty lost. I'm not posting this to be like "I'm so popular, amazing, and wonderful and y'all want to know what I do next!"
No. I'm posting this to say that I'm lost as to where my story should go next. I'm confused and need answers from the pros. And who better to ask than you guys? (Also, I think it would be fun to have you guys decide!)
Option 1: Obey the Gryphon. The Gryphon warned me not to go looking for Claaws. So I go back home, feeling defeated, and probably find something on the way.
Option 2: Disobey the Gryphon. I go to find Claaws, after affirming (another old-fashioned word again. I really should stop using these.) that my mission would be pointless if I didn't go after Claaws. This option would be really stupid for me to do because the Gryphon warned that Claaws has no love (aka would kill me) for human beings.
Option 3: Wander. Maybe, just maybe, if I wander, I could find something important?

I think you should do what you want to do, but if it were me, I would say 2. Go home, feeling defeated and find something interesting along the way!

I have found a fellow heteroclitic word lover! I used to be a bardolater; I got a lot of strange looks back then, when I said stuff like thou and shalt, and generally tried to imitate the speech of the people in The Merchant of Venice. Well after a while, I realized that none of my friends found my jokes funny anymore due to my excessive usage of such outlandish words. Then I decided to speak a bit more like a normal 21st century kid, albeit my references to The seven muses. Whatever. Anyway, Keep on using them words!XD
I think you should disobey le griffon, unlike my dear cousin's suggestion;) Or, you could run into a nasty surprise on your way home, which would be just as refreshing!

I would choose Option 3, but I'm not sure what or where your story is. So a somewhat uninformed desicion but one that I would make.
Please don't stop using unusual words and phrases! The world is so boring without them!
