I feel horrible. I forgot to ask before I went through with my whole PowerFriend thing.. So, Admins, is it OK if there's a PowerFriend? I guard the CREATURES of the powers, not the powers themselves. I guess I can just redo my story if it isn't OK... So sorry! -Icy

So, you may have heard of me. You may even have read my stories. But I can no longer make threads to write them on. I didn't know where else to do it than here. Maybe could I (I know how selfish this sounds) have my own thread for writing stories, Admins? Anyway, I'm writing here for now.

I follow my uncle up the side of a very large mountain. Orién follows silently behind. The wind rustles through my fur. It's the only sound I've heard for a while. I haven't said a word to my uncle since we left the cart at the bottom of the hill and started walking. " Um, excuse me, sir, uncle, um, what should I call you?" I stutter. "Well, my name is Silverbeam. But on the other hand, I suppose you could call me whatever you want." A tiny hint of a smile shows on his face. "Oh," I chuckle nervously. "Where are we going, um, Uncle Silverbeam?" "We are going home." I'm confused, so I say nothing more. When we reach the top of the peak, I gape at the view. The sunlight on the tree tops, red and pink with the coming spring. The wind rustling the branches, the sound of a little creek running through the forest. It all plays together to make a breathtaking lookout. Then I see a small cave atop the mountain. This must be my uncle's den. "You must be bursting with questions. Fire away" he says. "Well first of all, what is going on?!? And why did you bring me here? What is this place?" I say. My brain is swirling with emotion and confusion. "Alright, alright. Let me start from the very beginning." My uncle says. "There once were six creatures. The founders, rulers, and powers of Kyngdom. They are all important and I'm sure you know a little about them already. But the most important for this story is Lunee, great winged wolf and controller of The Power of Howl. Sadly, she fell, to the great sorrow of all the animals. You can read more about it in the power origin stories. But the wolf that took the power and guarded it, the first guardian, was your great grandmother." I was astonished. "It may come as a shock, I know. " he continued. "But then, her son and daughter were the problem. Her son was the guardian, but his sister got a silly idea into her head that the power should belong to her side of the family, and so she stole it away. Now it has been on the wrong side of the family for generations. The guardians on our side of the family have been looking for it, but have every time failed. We don't even know who the false guardians are. They must have gone into hiding, not revealing their true identity for decades. Somehow, they ended up calling The Power of Howl the Warhorn, probably as a code name. But for all we know, the possessor of the supposed 'Warhorn' has just found out what she really holds. She is waiting for you in the forest. The poor child has probably been deceived all her life, maybe her mother only told her what she knew." He finished. "What? She's waiting for ME!?! But why?!" At this point, I was more confused than when I started. "Ah, you didn't let me finish. Your father was the guardian. His dying wish was that you would become the next guardian." I didn't know what to do at this point, so I fell to my knees and began to cry. Because of all the time my mother told me I was special. All of my education about the powers. All that my father had hidden from me. Everything was coming together now. My uncle seemed to have read my mind, because he just kept talking. "Yes, I thought this might happen. It's quite alright. As I was saying, when I heard of your parents death and that you had escaped, I had to find you. And that is where Orién comes in. She was a double agent for BIG, Professor Hornshaw's favorite cat. Soon after BIG found you, Orién decided to be good again. She came and told me everything, and promised to help me find you. I'm very sorry about the electric fence and any inconvenience. I told Orién to feed you, water you, and make sure you were comfortable and didn't run away. Apparently her tech Know-How and training for BIG got the best of her." I couldn't help looking down at my burns. I saw Orién for the first time since we got to the top of the cliff, sitting on the edge, hanging her head. "And so I did find you, and now I've told you. But your distant cousin Neminem is waiting for you in the forest, you better go." He says. "Thank you for everything uncle Silverbeam. What's this place called anyway?" I say. "Shadow Moon Peak. You're named after it." And with that I bounded off for the forest.

I think there should be a thread like "(So shall we start.)". It can help develop character, which makes other post better. Also it's fun. We were asked a question in "Letter from B.I.G." and now we can't answer it. Not all of us got to do that. (Cough cough me, cough cough.) What should we do if we want to ask a question, (either one person, or to a group.).

That's my two cents. I do agree it's easier to process this way.
