Hi! So, what's our goal? 3,000 posts?
(December 2, 2016 - 6:48 am)
I think it's 100 pages
(December 3, 2016 - 2:40 pm)
Ah, memories. Some better the others, there was a bit of drama with this thread, but can we keep doing this? Like, keep trying to get it to mor eposts, even though ts already the longest?
Okay, whoever wants to do this with me, I set our goal to... 2000 posts! (That actually make sense and aren't spam, replies, and tops ;))

Okay then, 2,000 posts sounds like a good goal!
So, do you want to start posting random pieces of writing or something? No writing pieces I feel like sharing right now, but I have a song- (it's a three person duet, so it may sound a bit repetitive. It's based on the novel I'm writing.)
Do you hear it? Like a whispering voice-
urging me, to make the right choice.
Here it comes, from the sky and on the way.
Its a tiny drop of rain.
There it falls, no to far from here.
not too big, about the size of a tear.
There it lands, remembering those who Before came.
Its a single drop of rain.
Its very quiet, like the footsteps of a doll-
and yet I hear it, and see it as it falls.
And now I hear, and it seems to lead the way.
Its a tiny drop of rain.
As the rain falls
over the valley
and the moon is covered by the clouds
and the light is extinguished from the talley,
but the rain
keeps
thundering
down.
Could you tell me how you liked it, and what you think the metaphor is? It's a big one!

Oops, that's supposed to be in not win.

It reminds me of the quote "Teardrops in the rain." Spoken in Blade Runner by Roy.

I love it! And are you comparing a raindrop to a someone's point of view?
(December 3, 2016 - 2:43 pm)
The raindrops represent a brewing war, and each of the three characters (all of them children) are talking about how pressured they feel to fight, and how when the war started out, it was just a few arguments. Now, the arguments have become a full on war.
