that's so cool guys! I had no idea so many people on the CB played string instruments. Check PP for a thread about them. ;)

Wow! This thing is GIGANTIC!!!

Cool.

I've somehow set myself the goal that I would read all the stories in Cricket in a year starting today. November 26, 2016. Including Kyngdom. Sounds like crazy! It is. But here I go!

Concerning my goal. I'm only reading the Inkwell and Kyngdom stories, not random comments. That would be near impossible.

Ahh, them good old days when I was as cheerful as Cayke the Cook. (Excerpted from Page Eight of this thread)

We should do random animal roleplays. Not huge, but like this:

.:Crab:.

The bright orange crab scuttled in the sand. It frantically waved its pincers for no reason. They clacked noisily. The crab poked around, scuffling. Its antennae wiggled. Another crab! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! Our crab skimmed over the sand, pincers held out. The crabs clashed, clawing and snapping. Ouch! Our crab's shell was badly damaged. The other crab ran away. Our crab died.

I like that idea. You or I could make a thread for that or something. Poor crab.

I remember how much fun I had writing it, and it makes me laugh a little whenever I read it. What do you mean, make a thread? Can't it stay on this thread?

I like this idea Scylla!

.:Wolf:.

She wandered through the woods in the black night. It surrounded her, enveloping her like a menacing blanket of darkness. She was looking for food. Maybe a village of humans. Their dumpster food had always been top-notch, and was much easier than having to chase down a rabbit. A wind kicked up, bristling her fur, making it stand on end. She barked at the wind, biting at it, trying to make it pay for harrassing her and taking up her precious time. Finally, after walking for miles and stillnot finding a bite to eat, the gray wolf settled herself under a tree and attempted to go to sleep, despite her growling stomache. No dinner tonight.

Good idea!

.:Fish:.

He swam soundlessly in the vast, dark ocean, searching for a tasty morsel to eat. The water surrounded him as he quickly moved his medium-sized body. There! A tiny shrimp, dangling in the water like it was waiting for him to eat it. It looked like it was dead, and it wasn't even sinking! The fish smiled, swimming quickly toward it before someone else could snatch his prize away from him.

He bit down on the shrimp, then tasted something metallic, and immediately realized him mistake. He squirmed as he rose, the metal fishing hook stuck into his upper lip. He rose higher, higher... out of the water! He couldn't breath, and giant fingers took him, and he saw a pair of giant eyes, "Ah! My first catch!"

He was plopped into a bucket of water, where he could breath again. He gasped, bumping against the side of the small bucket. Looked like he was going to be someone's dinner!
