A panther is like a leopard, except it hasn't been peppered

Should you behold a panther crouch, prepare to say "ouch"

Better yet, if called by a panther, don't anther

A RP inspired poem thingie

~~~
I was once
Like you
But once it came out of me, the infection from my past,
Then the lie they said was me, simply didn't last.
Now I'm here.
Now I'm near
To discovering who I am
Past the lies of humanity,
Into the girl I am.
Shifting through personalities that I think might be me,
Personalities that just don't seem to be...
No matter what I was before the shift from my past,
It changes nothing,  I'm me, and that fact will last
Forever
Me
I spoke it
I gave them a fate
Through the visions in my head that speak to me,
But even after being beautiful and important,
I couldn't love again, because,
He's her father, what if she turns out to be like him?
Love is frightening when he turned in and became so different, and all the time, who he was was simply just a lie. So here I am, wondering why she wasn't one of them, here I am, betrayed and betraying my heart in order to stay true to my heart.
Betrayed,
Who could love you?  None.  His love was an illusion, kept by none. So there she is, with my navy blue hair, and strange amber eyes.
She looks nothing like him,
But he looked nothing like evil.
So how do I know to choose her, risk it all for her when I might be risking it all. They might die, because I was foolish enough to go for her. They might be killed for my selfishness, killed for her. Good might die for evil, but I want evil to die for good...
...
So here I am, in literal chains. Brought down, spoke as evil by the group I helped to build. And I still am true, although they say that I have been a liar, a thief.
It's for the best that I'm in a prison. It's for the best, they are safe from my rash judgement and mistakes.
I spoke it onto myself.
Win.
Winning is what I'm for.
He never understood how to win.
Maxi never did.
So they won't win, fine, let it be so.
Darkness surrounding my brother like a cloak, and endless misery and pain for me as a result of his mistakes. He chose the wrong side.
I don't know why they don't recognize me.
I did ALL the work. I wrote the note, signed it mysteriously, did what I could. But why couldn't I win? JUST LET ME WIN!
I need more credit, it's what I deserve, I could be the breaker of prophecies, but I stayed loyally, so now I'm bratty, brattier than ever, JUST ADMIT I'M CLEVER! And LET. ME. WIN.
I would win at normal life, not this double edged knife.
But when your destiny is written out for you, determination is your companion and you just need to live, and there's no turning back from what is written for me, I would prefer to say no, but I submitted because there's no other way, so I'll win.
And she ran on.
Trying for a better future, aiming as high as she could.
The one thing she could do for her world.
Try.
Yay! #LTE4evah!
I'm memorizing The Charge of the Light Brigade. (Not on my own time, mind you. I'd be perfectly fine without it. But since my mom is making me memorize it anyway, what the heck.) This is from memory, so it might not be entirely accurate.
The Charge of the Light Brigade
Half a league, half a league, half a league onward
All in the valley of death rode the six hundred.
"Forward the Light Brigade!"
"Ride for the guns!" he said.
Into the valley of death rode the six hundred.
"Forward the Light Brigade!'
Was there a man dismayed?
Not tho' the soldier knew
That someone had blundered.
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die,
Into the valley of death rode the six hundred.
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them,
Volleyed and thundered.
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode, and well,
Into the valley of death, into the mouth of hell,
Rode the six hundred.
Flashed all their sabres bare,
Flashed as they turned in air,
Sabring the gunners there,
Charging an army while
All the world wondered.
Plunged through the battery smoke,
Right through the line they broke,
Cossack and Russian
Reeled from the stroke
Shattered and sundr'd
Then they rode back,
But not the six hundred.
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon behind them,
Volleyed and thundered,
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
While horse and hero fell,
Those that had rode so well
Came back from the jaws of death
Back from the mouth of hell
All that was left of them
Left of six hundred.
When can their glory fade?
Oh the wild charge they made!
...And my memory does fade
So R.I.P., Light Brigade.
Hazel says geeo! Like, gee what a good recitation!
*No, gee what an awful recitation.*
