Another day in...

~The CB life~

Icy wandered around under the huge glass dome of the CB museum. A million colors of light filtered in from the glass, covering her in a literal rainbow, light filtering through every piece of glass. Display cases littered the area, and in the middle, on a pedestal and next to a giant marble statue of Abi where she would be enthroned to the CB world, was the crown artifact of the CB.

Icy melted into a chatty tour group and tried to blend in as they made their way towards the soapbox.

"Right here is the soapbox, the sort of crown jewels of the Chatterbox." The guide announced, and the group rushed up and pressed every hand against the glass case, oohing and aahing. Icy joined them and winced.

She remembered when she had no paper to write on in the middle of a war, and had used the soapbox as her paper, and covered it in her handwriting from the Diversity war--she would quit thinking about that now.

Yowch--there was a misspelling right there.

And there. And--okay, she would ignore that.

The tour groups slowly dispersed, and she found herself on the street again, and heading towards a dark alley with a gold-clad sign reading "The Golden Keyhole" and, in smaller letters underneath-- "Pudding's Place".

Hello, CBers, old and new!! River here. I don't expect many to remember me since I was not really on here for too long and even then was not very active much. And no, I'm not coming back. I have been peeking in every now and then when time permits and probably will continue to do so for the time being at least although probably not as much as before. I will also probably not post beyond this. I just really wanted to wish everybody a happy Valentine's Day while it is on my mind, and then I figured I'd contribute to the LTE at the same time. So...HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, Everyone!! That goes for you too, Oregano, wherever you are!! I hope that you and everyone here are all doing well!! *throws red and pink heart-shaped confetti everywhere*
Lastly, Admins, I never really thanked you for all the wonderful things you do to keep Cricket and this forum up and running. Everything that other CBers have said before me are so, SO true. You guys are absolutely THE BEST!! Thank you all so, SO MUCH!!!

Thank you, River. It's nice to hear from you. I know there's a big Chatterbox alum reunion planned for Valentine's Day, 2019, but I think every February 14 is a good time to remember friends, both old and new.
