I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

My roommate probably (definitely) thinks I'm crazy, because I am currently eating a bowl of soup in my closet and randomly giggling at the video I'm watching.

Hi! It's going okay right now. This is my first week of college and so far it's been really difficult emotionally, which is the source of the Feelings. But yeah, could be better, but I'm alright currently. Hopefully next week will be better because I'll have classes to take my mind off of things.

I think I know how you feel - my classes start tomorrow too, and after years of homeschooling, it's just weird and unsettling to think of studying with other people (though exciting!) I've been having Feelings all summer... Guess we can go through it together, anyway. I did post some advice in reply to your Confessions post, in case you feel like that might help! Anyway, I'm glad to hear things are okay right now, and I hope college is nothing but amazing for you. It'll hopefully get a lot easier as you get used to it, anyway.

I feel like this thread needs more chaos... after all, it is random thoughts/things.
also I was looking through the back threads trying to find this old post about cucumbers, so you're all treated to a few random gems from a long time ago! the only problem is i keep running into my comments and cringing.

i don't remember saying either of those things, so i probably said them before my hiatus, but they're funny, and it's a well known fact that i wasn't funny before my hiatus, i was cringe. yet i read these words by my past self, and find that they are not cringe. but, I said them pre-hiatus, therefore ERROR. ERROR. DOES NOT COMPUTE. IF "CRINGE" DOES NOT EQUAL "FUNNY." SUBJECT: CRINGE NOT FOUND

Haha I sympathize with finding cringy comments made by your past self... you just look at them and think "oh gosh, what was I thinking??" Hopefully other people don't find them cringy, though. I must say I don't find yours cringy, anyway :)

so, i'm taking a mixed media class at my school, and we have a stash of materials (some of them vintage!) to work with, including this! apparently, in Victorian times there used to be a children's magazine with short stories called Chatterbox! unfortunately they seem to have been pretty into those victorian gender roles though :/
Cool! I hadn't heard of this. Thanks for showing us. Is it just the cover you show that you have? Or do you have more pages of the magazine?
