Updates:
I’m actually in Washington DC right now! When we left Switzerland, we went to Ohio, and then we had a family reunion in Roanoke, Virginia. After, we left to visit Washington DC, and that’s where we are now! On the way here from Virginia, we stopped at Natural Bridge, and I got a cute little frog (picture below). Tonight we’re making pasta for dinner, and we stopped at the LIDL to shop and it felt so much like it did in Lugano! We used to go there almost every week, and they pronounced the name lee-dl here too instead of some Americanized version or whatever! They even had chocolate with hazelnuts, which I never see where I live in the U. S., and pretzels in the little bakery area!

I myself am not Swiss, but we spent a year there. I do have friends, whose dad is Swiss, and they were also on sabbatical at the same time, in Basel.

i finally got my ears pierced today! all i have to say is that i did not anticipate that much blood??? like yikes
i also got chai soft serve (dairy-free, thankfully, bc my stomach sucks, but honestly i would have eaten it even if it had dairy idc) which is even more amazing as it sounds :DD

o_O I am never getting my ears pierced. Like, stabbing a needle through my ears just to stab more needles through my ears (o_O) over time? Okay that might be a tad dramatic but no thank you. But that's great for you!! Earrings actually are pretty cool though; some pairs are so creative!!
