I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. So I'm at sleepaway camp rn which is why I haven't been active (I have access to a computer bc it's a writing themed camp so I need it for Google Docs) but I just finished my first draft for my college essay!! Which is great bcs I was really worried about finishing before camp ends. It's not perfect but it exists which is nice. Now to do edits :(

I just love it when writers write accents. Ex: Ow do you do, sweet'eart? Stop an' chat a bit. LOVE IT!

I went to Green Bay to see my cousin last Friday and oh, man I had a GREAT time! I got home on Sunday afternoon and I was like "nooo, I don't wanna go home, Dad, I wanna stay with my cousin", but alas, I had to leave. I had fun, though :)

i made him a bracelet with his name on it and an NF bracelet.
and i'm going to give them to him on friday.
help. i'm really bad at talking to him. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GIVE HIM BRACELETS?
honestly knowing me i'll quite literally go "hi um i made these for you" and say literally nothing else.
and what if our friends rearrange the seating to have us sit next to each other like they did last time?? it was really nice sitting next to him and he smells so good and his hugs ARE THE BEST THING IN THE WORLD but i literally sat there and said nothing to him and he did the same because we're so awkward IRL around each other A;LSKDFJ
i hate this. i want to be friends so bad, but (this is gonna sound really stupid and cheesy but-) honestly our feelings get in the way.
and TO MAKE IT WORSE, I'M PRETTY SURE I HAVE SOCIAL ANXIETY.
i'm so bad at making friends unless we share interests. and even then sometimes i just kinda sit there awkwardly and not know what to say. ugh.

life, sometimes? obviously i ended up taking a way-too-long/unannounced hiatus right after i joined. and my posting is probably going to be unpredictable at the best of times. but well i'm here now.
speaking of which, a hiatus is officially "a pause in which nothing happens, or a gap where something is missing"—i think the collins dictionary needs a reboot lol
