I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. I got four hours of sleep last night....and was eating cake at 1 o,clock...what a fun sleep over.

Oh my gosh what do I do today is opening day of my school production aaaaaaaaa
I really should've a) eaten more, b) slept more and not have gone to sleep past 1 am, and c) not have scream-sung so much last night/yesterday... eh it was worth it at my friend's b'nei mitzvah... The theme had been "punk rock" and so I was the second-most punk/bested dressed there, second only to the b-mitzvah person themself, Mushroom. I felt (and looked) like a punk princess

when do i materialize the ability to wait? and yes, I mean materialize. I don’t just want a power - I want a fancy artifact.
Give me the Staff of Self Control, the Teapot of Magical Brews with some Patience Tea (now with lavender, for an extra sense of calm! Unlike other tea brands, we use the only lavender guaranteed not to make you fall asleep mid-sentence when talking about boring subjects and/or cows jumping over moons* *these statements not verified by the Shady Agricultural Council of PURE DOOM), even the legendary Cloak of Sitting In One Place for More Than Five Seconds when Not Doing Something Immediately Interesting.

i can't even work on my concerto competition music anymore because I'm not hyperfocusing on it and that's the only way i ever get stuff done and i have 20 million things to write about and can't think of any of them and ughhhhhhhhhhh
and my mom is like "everything is fine! you're diagnosed with ADHD but it's fiiiine" even though my brother has ADHD meds (???) but i guess i did at one point but they just made me have panic attacks all day (still took them for school *shudders*
but anyway then she tries to get me to do school and freaks out because I'm walking around fiddling with stuff instead of doing the lesson :'D she's so good at pretending everything is fine i think it's like her magical ability
i don't even know what i'm writing but i'm posting it i guess idk i just... i somehow managed to finish the cadenza i was writing but now i can't do that anymore and like i've barely been practicing at all (i've literally skipped a few days that never happens ever) why did i decide to do this
i have no idea waht i just wrote but can't read anymore so *posts* i guess

@BB, I'm so sorry I can't do anything to help you... I have like no experience whatsoever with ADHD or anything so just sending hugs (if you want them) and good vibes your way and hope everything gets better/easier/more manageable soon!!! <333
and I LOVED those things you wrote btw, even if it was just you rambling. The teapot made me laugh! Totally something like my best friend would say. Also that was so contradictory and in it not and nonsensical and it was pure perfection! :D
ALSO I don't think I've thanked you yet tysm (sososo much) for introducing me to jellycats!! I melt over the cuteness and creativity of them all. We got my first jellycat (at least knowing it's a jellycat) 2-3 weeks ago, a kitten caboodle!! She helped me finish writing my novel project (I named her even though there's a tag, which I discovered too late... her name's Meryl, but I call her Mer, and she's a pun!!! I freaked out when I found out!! :D)
I got my second one two days ago, a squirrel (Ambrosie squirrel I think?) and ackk!! He was a gift for my dance performance and I love them so... also found out the name too late. Her name is Gian Furlough Acorn Harlowe and there's no stopping it (seriously, they insisted. And when I was like NO he just gave me a stink eye (we're testing out pronouns cuz she's so confusing and usually I can tell my stuffies' pronouns easily but idk we're both confused))
also yes Ik I sound crazy like "my stuffed animals have feelings!!" but that's seriously how it feels. Who knows. Maybe it's my subconsciousness. Pls know I mean no disrespect to anyone having my stuffed animals being confused about pronouns I'm not mocking/making fun of anyone at all, it's also sorta my way of figuring them out, so sorry if you feel uncomfortable if you do pls tell me to stop posting about this no hard feelings :)

also i totally feel you on the "stuffies have feelings" thing. I have more like... empathy ig? idk, but anyway i like care about my stuffies'/inanimate objects' feelings more than other peoples' ToT (except i actually do care on the CB to some extent *shrugs* idk i'm weird)
I love the Ambrosies! And you do dance? is it ballet?!?! I'm watching Swan Lake right now (a video, not in person XD) :DDD

oh and have you seen Crumble Fox? They're probably my favorite Jellycat but they're currently out of stock and Jellycat has retired the rest of the Crumbles so I hope they don't go away permanantly that would be awful. i've heard people say Jellycat has been focusing more on the Amuseables than the cuddly stuffed animals lately :((( i like the Amuseables but probably not as much. oh, and Oberon Owl is also adorable. they're all amazing.
also i'm so glad you thought my teapot thing was funny XD there's an Amuseable Teapot :D

also it's totally fine that you don't know your stuffies' pronouns. they could also just be questioning :D but yeah, not knowing your pronouns is never an issue, ever. people who make you think you have to know that sort of stuff are very wrong. if someone tries out pronouns and decides they don't like them and want to go back to their old ones, that's perfectly fine, and if someone never decides that's also fine.
also i love finding pronouns for my stuffies :D I'll talk more about my specific stuffies later :D
funnily my CAPTCAH is "aehzh" and ae/aer is a relatively common neopronoun set :D

y'know, spectacularly late and stuff, but still. Also I just realized I don't think I replied to your comment yet... but I remember typing out the response... sorry, do you still want it? Fine if no :)
anyways, here it is, unfinished, horrible, rambling, but yup~
People should take more time to be kind, do nice things, just for the sake of other people’s happiness. Even if you don’t get anything back, isn’t just the good feeling of spreading positivity enough (so I guess you do get something back, in which case, still, just do nice things, it's still a nice thing even if you do get something back, and no one's really selfless anyway, and if you are, that's kinda unnatural... but I'm rambling)? Really, just a song or book recommendation can be enough to cheer up someone’s day, just one genuine compliment or an, “I understand”, that feeling of knowing you’re not the only one and there are other people going through this too and we’re all in this together. I know someone, a 13 year old, who loves to do exactly this… and she’s absolutely amazing at it! Why don’t more people follow in her footsteps, strive to make the world a better place in the many small ways and details that you have power over, can change? Interestingly enough, I think lots of people like to think that they would, lots of people want to be that person… but don’t really put much effort into making it a reality (myself, for example). Naturally, I think humans want to be good people, to be seen as good people, and that's a perfectly fine, even an awesome goal/want/desire, but I've only ever really noticed this one girl, this one person, who really tries, who really does it, consistently, seeking the act of helpfulness out instead of just giving it when it happens by, who goes above and beyond and so is. Know, sometimes, that that's enough, just trying, because what's a "good person", really?
