Random Thoughts/Things?

Random Thoughts/Things?

I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

My peace and joy are intact for today, though I want to cry for the whole world.

You know when you are feeling all the emotions all at once? That is me now, and I know you are supposed to feel your emotions and not just stuff them down, but I don't know how to feel them if I don't even know what they are...

my parents just had a "motivational" chat with me that left me feeling like all the hard work I've put into the things I love is worth nothing. plz send comfort and maybe some sweet, hopeful and slightly sad song recommendations.

"Little Moth" by chloe moriondo (hopeful and sweet but also a bit sad)

"Ready Now" by dodie (hopeful and very sweet)

"Alewife" by Clairo (a bit sad and very hopeful)

"This Is Home" by Cavetown (hopeful, sweet, and a little sad)

"Meteor Shower" by Cavetown (very sweet)

"Change Your Mind" from Steven Universe (sad, but also hopeful and strong)

"Escapism" from Steven Universe (sad, sweet, and hopeful)

"Her Name" by Pamelo (hopeful and sweet, despite a slight feeling of melancholy)

Let me know if you'd like to talk more about this.

i'm really sorry, anon. *hugs, if that's okay* i think that if you're putting time and effort into something you love, something that makes you happy, then there's no way it could possibly be worth nothing, even if other people don't see that <333

may i recommend the music group lor? i especially love their album lowlight--some of my favorite songs from it are matches, cinnamon, and windmill. to me, it sounds like the musical equivalent of a hug or warm cup of tea.

i'm feeling okay, sorta accomplished, and relatively calm right now, but it feels like it's not going to last long. hopefully i'm wrong about that part :]

i also really hope i'm home alone at some point today because for some reason i really want to sing and try to perform Captain Beatty's five and a half-page monologue from Fahrenheit 451. also have any of you thought about the metaphor of the heart? it represents a whole lot without much logic to back it up. i have made it my mission to research its origin and until i fully understand it not use it as a metaphor (instead of saying singing my heart out i will sing my vocal chords out)

YOU SAW WICKED?!?!? ARGHHHH!!!! :DDD

I want to see it (and Hamilton!!) SOO badly!! Well, not badly. I just really want to see them!! I have the Wicked piano book and I've said this before but have memorized:

What Is This Feeling

One Short Day

Defying Gravity

Popular (interestingly one of my favorite favorite songs when I was younger, it is really good though!)

For Good

I'm Not That Girl

and like to belt them out regularly and randomly! Hence I want to see it. I thought they canceled it though? I'm probably remembering wrong :) so glad you liked it (and got to see it!!) though!! And, yess, A Chance to Fly is awesome!! Everything I know about Wicked is from that, the songs, and The Wizard of Oz. I'm excited for Cut Loose! !

Oh, and just saying, thank you for bringing me down the rabbit hole of The Lightning Thief Musical. I am now doodling lyrics in my notebooks and on my schoolwork... :) have memorized all the words to:

Lost!

The Day I Got Expelled

Campfire Song

My Grand Plan

Drive

and a buncha the words to:

Good Kid

Another Terrible Day

Strong

We're in the Same Boat

Take the Weight

and am loving the whole thing! Thank you again!!

also, sorry, just making sure you got my response in confessions?

Ahhhh! I love Wicked! I saw it a few years ago and it's a really amazing show. Do you have a favorite song? Mine's "Defying Gravity," but I also love "Popular."
