I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

So many threads sink down into the depths of the CB because people forget to top. PLEASE TRY NOT TO FORGET. Keep the tab open until you have topped, or you can click twice on the "submitted by" button to see the threads that have been posted on most recently. But seriously, it's so sad when a thread dies before people see it...
If you're new and don't know what topping is, basically when a thread is created, after the first person posts, it glitches down into the depths of the CB and won't be easily seen until a second person posts, "topping" the thread back up to people-see-it-land.

if you know me, hi again! i'm genuinely so sorry for disappearing off the face of the earth without explanation. if you don't, hi anyways :)
i probably won't be around consistently (see: the last year+) but i'll try to pop in :) and who knows; this might become a consistent thing for me again. i don't really have a good explanation for why i disappeared, it was mostly just homework and commitment issues lol but based on the amount of time i spend on youtube i can probably use this as a slightly more productive procrastination method.
idk really what this is ahaha
i've missed being here though so i'm glad i'm here :) i am writing a novel with a goal of 15000 (i tried 30000 last year but ran out of willpower halfway through lol) and no plot whatsoever. i'm using a list of prompts from this year's escapril but turning them into slighly more prose-like longer forms of writing and so far it's been kind of journaly? idk really i've fully embraced pantsing it.
anyways, it's good to be be back-ish! <33

I think you & I were on at the same time at some point, although I had a different name; do you remember an "anonymous poet" on the Poetry Contest thread? or Wren, perhaps?
in any case, I seem to recall some genuinely excellent poem-writing on your part. welcome back!
I'm writing a novel this year also! I'm very much a plotter - writing any sort of longer piece without an outline kinda intimidates me, tbh - so i admire your pantsing! :P
i don't think we ever interacted much, but it's nice to read you again nonetheless :)
