Flash Fiction Thread

Hello! I was thinking that this could be sorta like the regular poetry thread, but for flash fiction. I personally really enjoy writing flash fiction; does anyone else? If you do, feel free to post it here!

I wanna do a ski lodge really badly, so here goes!

You are one of the top 9 detectives in the universe. One night, an owl is heard bonking on your window. You let it in, and it drops a letter, then flys away. Here is what the letter says.  

Hello detective, I have chosen you for a very special mission. My pearl necklace, an ancient family heirloom, has been stolen. Please, can you please find it for me? You may stay at my mansion - a modern house called The Ries House. You will be able to take one or two AEs. - Marily Ries.

An idea:

So there are lots of roleplays about fantasy. Especially dragons. so many dragons.

So why not try something different? Who else reads comics and watches movies like dr horribles blog? Why dont we try to make something like the kyngdom continuity of stories but with super heroes?

I haven't checked in on the CB in a while--the browser on this computer doesn't even have my layout (The Forest, etc.) saved. I'm here to fix that shame up a bit. 

If you're wondering, yes, I'll be on the CB for a bit! c: I'm planning on hanging around the Longest Thread Ever and posting most of my random writings and thoughts there to try to make sure an older part of the CB gets a bit of respect and remembrance. Please feel free to join me!

Mystery RP!

Let me give you a bit of info before you read the part after this. Yuwis are half-dragon, half-human creatures. Their scales are like dragon scales, just larger, and their blood is a purple-ish color. 

Okay, now for the real part.

You are a human or animal with powers in the association Magic. One day, yoo and your group receive a letter that says: 

Help needed badly! I am a captive Yuwi, follow the Hourglasses in the Star Plains to find me! Help please! - A Captive Yuwi

You receive a message written on a Yuwi scale (think half-dragon half human. for the scales, think dragon scales but larger). 

It reads : 

Whoever gets this message, i wrote this in my own blood. i am a yuwi trapped somewhere, and i dare not tell. i will say this. follow the star plains and the hourglasses and you shall find me. 

- a captive yuwi.
