I've been noticing you posting repeats of threads because they're disappearing, but just so you know, if your thread disappears, it's because there's a glitch in the system: the first comment sends the thread all the way back to the last page. To find it again, you have to click "Submitted By" once or twice. 

To get the thread back to the top, simply wait for the first comment to post, then post a second comment, which will immediately send your thread straight to the top of whatever section it was posted on.

There was a post I posted but it says I didn't. Also the two comments I was replying to disappeared...? Did they get taken down?

If so, I'd just like to restate the positive stuff because I think it's a good thing to say anyways.

So, hi Spirit!

There was a post here that was telling you to put your introduction thread on Chirp At Cricket, and you said it made more sense for you to post here, "as you didn't 'fit in' there."

Please don't feel that way. Everyone here is really kind and amazing and will welcome you with open arms. I actually started out here on the Inkwell too! Next I branched out to DtE (because AEs and random thoughts? Yes please!!), and then PP (you should check out some picturing threads, they're quite amazing. And there are lots of amazing ski lodges...), and then finally, CaC, where I found all sorts of introductions, helpful questions, the Ultimate Guide, and lots of fun games and contests and SIs. 

It took me a while, so don't feel rushed, but I don't want the reason for you not to go to other topics to be because you're scared you'll be unwelcome, or won't fit in. The comment in question (mentioned above) was rather harsh, and I'm sure the anonymous poster didn't mean it in that way, but please don't let it scare you off. I don't think they meant to be mean or accusatory and that's certainly not how most posts are.

The CB is about creativity and imagination. Sure, there are loose rules and structure, but if you make a mistake, it really isn't that big of a deal. Someone might post a gentle reminder, but no one will be upset with you unless a) you're mean (and I don't peg you as the type to do that XD), or b) you impersonate someone (again, idk why you or anyone else would do this and I don't think you would anyways). 

Posting a thread in the wrong section isn't that big of a deal, and it might be that anonymous poster's pet peeve, which I get. It still doesn't change the fact they could've been a bit politer, but what's done is done. 

In a nutshell, this is my way of saying the CB is friendly, don't feel like you're unwelcome, and I'm sorry that comment sounded so accusatory. No one was trying to point fingers (I think), especially at you. People have posted intro threads on Inkwell before, it's not like it's sacrilege or anything.

I did post your previous comment, but then I decided to delete the comment to which you were replying because it sounded rude. And when a comment is deleted, any comments that were replying to it are automatically deleted, too. I hadn't thought about that consequence. So thank you for restating the positive!

I personally believe that Inkwell and Pudding's Place are the places that I am most comfortable with. Still, I'll make sure that I check out the others as well!
