Short story thread?

I started one of these in Pudding's place a while ago, but I think that this is a better place to do this.

Anyway, it's like the Regular Poetry thread over there, but with short stories instead. I don't really mind the genre, and you guys can decide if there should be a word limit or if we can just eyeball and use our own judgment to whether it's an actual "short story" or not.

New idea: what if there was a world where all fictional characters lived? I don't know wht it would be callled, maybe "Fiction" but no. Anyways, different genres are different kingdoms, and genres that fit into other genres or subsections of each kingsom (i.e. in fantasy there are subsections for realistic fantasy and high fantasy). I though it could be very fun if we designed this world and roleplayed our favorite fictional characters meeting (crediting the author, of course).

CB D&D? Maybe???

Okay, so I posted a thread where you can ask my DnD characters questions, and others said that they had DnD characters, some of which were unused.  This probably wouldn't work, particularly with the admins having tp accept the comments, but maybe we could pul off our own campaign? maybe? Sure, I have my school campaign plus the one that I'm running for my family, but I thought it would be fun.

This was inspired by Sammy E.'s ask my OCs thread. Since I love roleplaying my D&D characters, plus made an awesome racoon yesterday for an RPG I decided to do something like that.

Hello, everyone! I'm makin' another RP!

It all started in a village, where every week, the villagers would celebrate over the victory that there ancestors acheived on legendary creatures: Dragons.

There were five types of dragons: Fire; Ice; Water; Earth; and finally Lightning.

But while these types of dragons were very firendly, there was another type of dragon: The Shadow Dragon.

I have a great new story idea! A girl's younger brother was killed in a car accident. Years later, she is on the jury of her brother's killer's trial. She wants him to be condemned, but she knows he is innocent and feels a moral obligation to proove his innocence.

Story Setup: 

So I decided to write a story in a chatterry way, step story.

So somebody comes up with a setting, then somebody creates a character, and then we do a plot by using event chain.

So I'll start doing a setting for the story.

A cabin at a ski lodge, modern day.
