New Short Story!!!!!!!

Blue-Eyed Child

The tongues of fire twine around the fallen trees, the fallen buildings. The only light in this blurry gray existence.

The gun in my hand is heavy, and warm. From use. I see the tanks prowling the wreckage, spewing grit out behind them.

I know it should be sunrise, but the clouds suffocate the beautiful rays. It is dark , as if it were night. I walk around a doorway standing alone, defiantly, while the rest of the house has fallen.

Right. Because, as Adina so tactfully put it, "Ack! Inkwell is dead!" ;)

This is going to be sort of like a thread that was around a little while ago. I believe it died... no wait, a couple people went off on tangents about hating being human... or something like that, I dunno.

Anyhow, character swaps. If you have a character that you no longer want or need, or a Mary Sue/Gary Stu you want to get rid of, post a profile here and perhaps someone will want him/her. Shall I start?

So, um, did this a while back with When January Calls... The idea being, I write a story, completely on Chatter, zero outlining, zero forethought, etc. etc. and see how far it goes. You, meanwhile, give me feedback. Um, a title may or may not be forth coming... I dunno what I'm going to be writing about...

Should be fun, eh?

  I really want to write a story like every one else!  I like the idea of posting a chapter a week. (I got that idea from one of Choco's stories. They are so good.)  Anyway, I need help!!  If you have any story ideas I'd be happy to write them!!  ttyl
