The girl sits

The girl sits in the darkness. There is nothing but the space around her. It doesn't look black, but there is still nothing.

What happens next?

On the other

On the other side of a door deep in the woods lies a world mysterious, strange, and dying... There are none left, only memories and old stories... It has been forgotten, lost, left behind...

There is nothing left just frozen statues, trapped in a state of stasis because their rulers and leaders left them long ago. Every story is paused permanently, every wondrous creature forgotten left to rot away in the distance...

It used to be a beautiful world of stories, magic, and unlikely heroes...

It used to be Kyngdom...

So for some

So for some reason I've been  reading a lot of sequels lately - just not after the first ook, i read them first, and i was thinking, what if somebody wrote a sequel to a book but the first book didn't exist in the first place?? then you wouldn't know how everything started and it might be hard to understand at first  but i think it would be so great

Chatterbox: Inkwell

A naive, weak,

A naive, weak, figuerhead of a princess is the mascot for a rebellion against a villain who's conquered half the world. But when the princess can't stop seeing the good in everyone and everything, will her loyal bodyguard be able to save her from herself? Or will it turn out that she doesn't need saving?

~~~~~~
Blurb for a story I'll be sharing on here. Constructive criticism welcome. I'm going to be anonymous due to a mixture of self-doubt and perfectionism, but I might reveal myself eventually.
Gusts of wind
Gusts of wind sent puffs of gray dirt continually circling around the old battlefield. The charred skeletons of what people once called trees were dotted around. Ancient swords crusted with blood littered the ground. It was said that not even the Arch Nymph could make a single blade of grass grow here again.
