Thanks guys, for the nice stuff you said on my...freakout thread, I guess you can call it XD. I calmed down after reading some poeple's posts, and now appreciate all the cool suggestions, tricks, prompts, and tips.

I only made this thread because someone reading that thread without scrolling down and reading my later, cooled-down posts might think I'm still panicking. I'm still happy to take suggestions though. Just wanted to let you know I am no longer a melting orange popsicle! No idea where that analogy came from but you get the message :)

Open Story Thread

This is kind of like my one sentence post thread, but in this one, you can write as much as you want. It's kind of like a RP, but you don't have to make up a character, and write as them. I'll start.

Look up. Do you see that cloud, floating in the sky? The little grey one, just there? Let me tell you something about that cloud. Or rather, several somethings. Sit back, get comfortable. You might want a blanket and some chocolate, because this is going to be a very long story.

Summer Camp Solo Write

(YES I AM DOING TWO AT ONCE)

Your family can be... boring. But- but- BUT: they offer to take you to a very cool, and very far away, to the awesome Deus Ex Machina School of Art and Writing. The DEMSAW for short. There, they drop you off for about 2 months. 

You learn all about writing and art. I plan on twists during the story.

Rules:

1) You can only be a human or an elf.

2) Elves are capable of mind magic, while humans are better at earth related magic.

Help.

I've been at home for...let's see like, 6 hours or something. Basically all day.

I intended to create a bunch of character profiles and work on a story.

I have written nothing.

All I've done is surf for ideas then get distracted on the computer.

It's really stressful.

What if I lost my touch?

Even if I haven't....

I've been trying and trying to write for about two weeks. I either don't have the time, or I get distracted or I just can't.

The Wastes Solo Write

First, the elves left. Then, the griffs left. Then, the mice and rats scurried away. Something big was coming.The only ones who remained just before the storm hit were humans, weredragons, sand dwarves, and snake kin. As the storm hit, it tore the city to the ground, swallowing up its inhabitants.

Camp NaNoWriMo!

This is my first year. If you've already made a cabin, could I be added to that cabin? And just in general, this thread can be for people who want to be in cabins. I know there were some threads about that a while back, but I couldn't be added to any cabins because I hadn't created a project yet.

OR should I just make a new private cabin??? And invite you guys if you give usernames?

Once, in a small land that almost no one had ever heard of, there was a house.
