Name: Jay Lopaz

Gender: M

Personallity: Outgoing, sarcastic, has a way of always making difficult situations lighter. Funny, but can be serious, especially if someone dies. Caring, doesnt really freak out over much, loyal, and trustworthy. Sensitive, though he hides his emotions well. 

Appearance: Dark, neatly cut hair that doesnt curl, dark tan skin, but glowing gem-blue eyes that look like, well, gems against his skin. Strong build, thick boned but not overweight, eight pack, used to play on a football team. Has a very noticable scar that he doesnt like to talk about down the side of his face (you can come up with the backstory there if you like). Agile, but clumsy at the same time. Usually wears a plane gray t-shirt and tannish shorts and tenis shoes.

Might be magic: Shapeshifter or Morpher (if morpher maybe into a panther?)

Other: You can ship him with guys and girls....ooo maybe we can do some sort of love triangle? Ack, this is your solo write, don't listen to me!

Name: Evelyn "Evie" Renshaw

Age: 10

Gender: Female

Personality: She likes learning and is a bookworm, she is shy and doesn't like socializing, she doesn't like sports but she dances, she is determined, and she is creative

Appearance: Sholder-length brown curly hair (it's usually in a ponytail), purple glasses, simple face, average height

What might their magical power be: Perhaps she can understand any language

Oh, and they don't know that they have magical powers before they come to this camp, so keep that in mind.

@SJay, I like Jay, especially his personality which is interesting.

I don't really like writing shipping, but I might do a little low key stuff.

@SJay, yes, dancing is a sport. More so depending on the type of dance.

@KtG, there is going to be a lake at the camp (because what's camp without canoeing?).

Does anyone have ideas for the name of the camp? I'm thinking an animal name, like Camp Antelope or something. 

Here is the counselor for the elective:

Name: Sam Kesterson

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Personality: Kind and understanding (especially to kids), can get angry quickly, wants to do a good job at teaching this 

Appearance: Fiery red hair, freckles, huge smile, tall and skinny

Magical power: Fire. He can make fire out of thin air and do lots of cool things with it. 

He knows what is power is, unlike the campers, who discover their power with him. 

I might change the charries' powers from what you suggested to make it fit better with the plot, but I will make it something along those lines.

Probably sometime soon I will write a prologue with the characters so far, and then if anyone joins after that they can be a main character too, just not in the prologue. I also may end up just writing it for my charrie.

I will let people join until, hmm, maybe Wednesday? I'd like to start before I go away a bunch in July. And then after that people can still make charries, they'll just come into the story later on.

Age (about 9-14 please): 12

Gender: Male

Personality: Relaxed, but suffers from anxiety. He trys very hard to appear nonchalant, but can have panic attacks. He is very empethetic, but sometimes he hangs out with the wrong crowd. Guillible, yet very observant. He is the guy you want to go on vacation with, but not the guy who you want to help you in an emergency.

Appearance (relatively normal, but they can have some quirks): He has light olive skin, and short black hair. His eyes are a green brown. He likes to wear shirts with sharks on them. 

What might their magical power be (optional): To create force fields.

And please make the characters diverse.

Age: 13

Gender: boy

Personality: Energetic, outgoing, athletic, enjoys playing sports, determined, friendly, he is often picked first for teams and many people like him

Appearance: Almond colored skin, straight and short black hair, pretty eyes, flexible, short but strong

What might their magical power be: Blowing gusts of wind

As you can see, spots are closing tommorow. I will let people join after that, but those characters will come into the story late and may be less important to the story.
