Uh, so Parental Controls is sort of blocking me from mty own solo write, so Kitten, could you maybe ask Admins to delete your comment or change it or something? Sorry.....I'm sure you didn't say anything inappropiate, PC will block me for no reason all the time.

@Admins: How much death and/or gore is allowed in stories on the CB? I'm in the middle of writing and posting a story on Cricket, but in the next few chapters several characters die less-than-natural deaths, and I wanted to make sure I would be allowed to post it on the CB. It's nothing too gruesome-- mostly people just get stabbed, a sound is described, there is a little description about blood, and then the scene moves on.

A solo write is where CBers submit charrie sheets but only one person does the writing, yes? If not than I dunno what to call this...................

The morning dewdrops glitter as the fresh rays of sunlight peek over the rolling hills.  As I stand on the porch to the tiny cottage, I feel a sudden urge to slip off my shoes and take a walk in the grass around my new home.

Names 

I collect names. Sort of. I have a list of them, which I consult now and then when I have to name a character or something. So, I thought, why not make a thread where you can post some random cool names?

Writing Inspirations

This is what it sounds like— A place to talk about the people who have inspired and influenced your writing! I always think it's very interesting and reflective to think about where different aspects of our styles come from. Here are some of mine (in no particular order)!

The dark spire pricks the descending clouds, gray clouds filled with rain.

You shiver as the icy rain hits your bare, pale skin. The black palace frightens you, and you do not want to go nearer, but you need shelter.

The polished walls of the castle gleam in the lightning's burst, black walls of an unknown stone. The high gates are forbidding, guarded by something...........you can't tell exactly what.

There's laughter coming from the Dining Hall, where plates and glasses, stone floors and wooden benches gleam and twinkle.

You can hear it in the bedrooms, almost hear it in the highest lonely tower. The prisoners there wish they could join, but they cannot.

But we don't need to think about them for now. Let us rejoice, and be happy; we're alive, and that's a good enough reason to celebrate!

@Admins, are you ever going to do another Crowd Sorcery? I just read through the whole thing, and there was a thread about what would happen if you did it again. But... you didn't do it again. So what happened?

We are a small staff and can't devote time to another Crowd Sorcery right now. I'm sorry. But I will let the editors know of your interest. Our readers comments are always important to us.
