Names
I collect names. Sort of. I have a list of them, which I consult now and then when I have to name a character or something. So, I thought, why not make a thread where you can post some random cool names?
First and last are fine. I’ll start off with some first names:
Damien
Sango
Asa
Giorge

Dolores is derived directly from the Latin word Dolor, Doloris, and Dolores is the Plural Nominative. So it literally means 'Pains'. Some Roman mom must have had a tough labor.
Anyway, my names!
Corrin (One of my favorites)
Adira
Irene
Xavion
North
Wesley (MY MOST FAVORITE MALE NAME)
Adrian
Kione
William
Matthew (Probably my second favorite male name)
John (Third)
Charolette (For a very feminine and delicate girl that is really quite awesome)
Charlie (For either a smart boy or a less delicate girl)
Bobbie (For a less delicate girl)
Conrad (A smart, handsome, flirtatious dude with a high military rank)
Ashildre (A short, patient girl who tends to people-watch)

I collect names, too! I think I actually got the idea from you, Viola?, when you mentioned a name list somewhere, but I don’t remember for certain. I’m especially partial to Irish names myself (I’m partial to anything Irish, actually) so here are some Irish names with their meanings.
-male-
Finn (I adore this name. It might be my favorite male name ever.) It’s actually the anglicized version of Fionn. Means ‘fair’.
Caolán—means ‘slender’.
Rordan—means ‘bard’, ‘royal poet’.
Ardál—means ‘high valor’.
Ciarán/Kieran—means ‘little dark one’.
-female-
Aoife—means ‘beautiful, radiant, joyful’.
Ashling—means ‘vision’, ‘dream’.
Ciara/Kiera—means ‘little dark one’ (female version of Ciarán).
Enda—means ‘free as a bird’ (it’s actually a unisex name, but I think it sounds more feminine personally).
Niamh—means ‘radiance or brilliance’.

I have a few collected names, since I write a lot. I use a lot of nicknames/codenames in my writing though, so I don't have a lot of normal names XD

Yup, as in Arc of a Scythe Tyger. You caught me. *laughs* I need to reread them so I can read Toll once it’s out. (It’s not out yet, right? Would be a shame if I missed that.)
