Character Name Help!

There's this one character in a story I'm writing and I simply cannot figure out a name for her. She's about 15, African-American, and lives in San Francisco. The timeline is ambiguous, somewhere in the near future.

The other main characters are Jodie (her best friend), Linh An AKA Lara (Jodie's cousin), and Thuan Tu AKA Ethan (Jodie and Linh's pretentious schoolmate).

like the title says, I'm back! I've been off for a while because I'm been swamped with homework, school, extracurricular, and some life stuff. but I'm here now.

Writer's Block? 

So I've had a really bad case of writer's block for many weeks. I have a novel I'm working on that I've gotten really deeply involved in, but I'm totally stuck on it now. I don't know why, but I just can't seem to write it anymore. And I can't write anything else, either, at least not anything that sounds good. My novel was, like, the one thing that I really deeply enjoyed doing, and now every time I try to write, I end up staring at a blank Word document for half an hour.

~Turning and twisting, there was starlight in the trees

In the trees

Not the sky 

A graceful cloak of stars

Black as the sky above

Leaving a trail of moondust

Curious

The hooded figure lit by its own starlight

A reflection of the clear sky

But not disguised

The stars travelled speedily, despite their obvious burden

The burden hidden in black folds of cloth

As if without it surely would be seen

The stars disappeared

In one of my stories that I am writing (I put a little bit on here, though it's fallen to the back pages by now) there's a really descriptive passage which I personally am pretty proud of, but I really want some advice from other people to see how good it really is and what are my strengths, weaknesses, etc.

Here it is (I'm not giving you any context except that a star dragon is what's being described):
