OK, this is just something I'm curious about. There's no guarantee I'll really go anywhere with it but could you just tell me if this scenario is possible (or all right, period):

Someone makes a thread. People comment about the thread, like any normal one, but, at a given time, [they ask Admins to] delete all the former comments. Then, eventually, the thread may or may not be started up again.

Flash Fiction, Anyone?

I, personally, adore reading and writing flash fiction! For those of you who don't know, flash fiction is essentially a story written in about 2,000 or so words or less, I believe. (Forgive me if my numbers aren't right.) Anyhoo, would anyone like to share some flash fiction they've written?

I'd love to read it!

As you may have guessed, I'm a bit new to the Chatterbox. I've had a few of my siblings come and go through here, and I figured it would be fun to join and share some of my writing. I'd appreciate any feedback on this story I'm working on (which I'll write in the comments if you'd like).

I know it might seem sort of weird of me to say this, but about the Sea Dragon Story thingymabobber I posted a while ago--

Jiggle. Click.

She watches him hungrily, blue eyes intense, brown hiar swept back. The very world is still.

He blows on them. An old trick, and he doesn't need it; luck is always on his side.

But he likes things to be the same, every time.

And they always are.

The dice spill down, clobbering the board and making her flinch. A few houses rattle, their nonexistent foundations too weak to stand up to the small white cubes of direction.

Which lead him to the exact right place, of course.

Urban Fantasy RP! (for the CB reunion!)

It's Valentine's Day, 2019. Everything is normal- there's a new magical animal reserve being built, the nation of dragons is getting along well with the humans, the sirens and harpies are fighting in the streets again (three sailors have died in the past week, and humans are advised not to stay out after dark.) There's a fairy exchange student coming to town, confusing that one kid who still mixes up pixies- a type of insect- with fairies.

Keza ran out of the clearing, a whole squad of stormtroopers on her heels. If only she hadn't tried to steal the file she thought. But it was critical for ending this endless cycle of missions.
