Ryokan Suzuran

The CBer sat in the shade outside their house, staring up at the single cloud in the sky. It was nearly July, and already sweltering hot. They wondered idly if it was going to rain tomorrow.

A bird glided over from somewhere behind them. Oddly, it landed right at their feet, seemingly unafraid. As the CBer watched, it set down a scroll, and stared at them for a second before flapping away. The CBer watched it go, then opened the missive.

You are invited to a free* thirty-one day** vacation at the luxurious Ryokan Suzuran! Located in a scenic valley, we offer hiking trails, hot springs and traditional Japanese rooms and services, all for no cost!* To accept, simply bury this message in open soil and water lightly. Guests and luggage to be transported by dragon.***

So, ideas for the second post? Third, fourth, etc.? Since we're confiscating weapons, we'll have to put those in a closet with everything related to popcorn, but I think it'll be a good opportunity for creative ways to kill people, which sounds extremely creepy now that I think about it. Um. Anyway. Strangulation and suffocation should be easy, beating to death is slightly harder but possible and spectacular, simply breaking a neck should be simple for anyone with sufficient strength... We can give them magic, voodoo or something... Kitchen knife, poisonous plant, tied/chained to a dangerous animal, drowning, stabbing with a glass shard, blinding and forcing/leading into some trap... That's eleven. It takes too long to die by infection, but maybe a fall, a fire, being crushed, choking, head/organ trauma, stabbing or slashing with something that's not a glass shard, planting popcorn in their luggage or bed after arrival to reveal the unprecedented danger of some being that's attracted to popcorn, a trap, death by insect bites/stings... That's 20. Do you think that's enough?

Blueprints would be nice. I can't really think of anything else.

Ooh! *rubs hands together* Perhaps that's when the popcorn monster is revealed! 

Maybe Rose Bud. She says she's "kind of a goat whisperer", so that's a good opportunity. Otherwise, possibly Allie or MJ. The murderer absolutely cannot know who they are, though, or else it'll become obvious before the last day. Any ideas for how that will work? I think my simultaneously being a proprietor and a guest will function as if there were two of me.
