Lately I've been getting into music from the series Violetta (side note: has anyone watched it? So far, I've only listened to the music, but the series seems like it might be good too) And I loveee the songs, especially "Ser Mejor" and "Encender Nuestra Luz".

I'm curious, does anyone else listen to Amy Macdonald? She's a Scottish singer, and I just recently discovered her music! It's really good - kind of like a mix of folk and rock. And it's very bold and melodious, good for turning up the volume, sitting back, and letting yourself get swept up in it.  I like the lyrics too, and Amy's voice. Overall her songs have a strong but wistful vibe - maybe it's the Scottish influence. I especially like "Slow It Down," "Fourth of July," and "Pride" :)
