I have absolutely got to fangirl about Carlos Baute's songs~
I don't like them all, but a lot of them are so gorgeous! The lyrics are exactly what you would want to hear in a song (in "Quien te quiere como yo" [which means "who loves you like I do" it says, "who admires you? like I do? who thinks about you and loves you? like I do? who takes you to concerts, more journeys and on boats to cross new oceans? who respects your space? who understands your days of change? who helps you to be your best? please don't forget about me~") and the instrumental and the tune are just so lovelyyyyyy and the songs seem to conjure up this happy world that I want to live in and I love them

Yesss Carlos Baute is so so so good!! "Me faltas tu" ("I'm Lacking You") is also wonderful (I'm listening to it right now, because ofc). And "Adelante" by Naiara is absolutely incredible - it's so inspiring and forceful and bright. The same song was performed by Operacion Triunfo (Operation Triumph), and that version is also good - warmer, and it feels more like it draws you in. And I love "Chas! y aparezco a tu lado" ("And I Appear at Your Side") by the same group. I'm basically listening to nothing but Latin pop right now ;)

Any other Greatest Showman fans? I love that musical SO MUCHHHH. And the music in it is so good. I think my favourite is Rewrite the Stars.
And whaddya Swifties think of ttpd? I don't think it has quite the energy as her last albums but it's still sooo good, and I can not get Who's Afraid of Little Old Me? Out of my head.

I have to pop in here and recommend Dvorak’s 9th Symphony; it’s one of my favorite pieces. I also like a lot of Bizet’s Carmen, especially Toreador, since it’s stuck in my head.
