ultimate music thread!
ik we have some music threads already, but i've had this idea for a while, and thought it might be fun?
here you can discuss music, fangirl/boy/person about your favorite bands, scream lyrics into the void, ask for and give song recommendations, share playlists, whatever! have fun, go crazy, and don't damage your ears :D

I'm open for song recs! I enjoy listening to pop, though indie-pop is also nice :)
(April 2, 2024 - 6:44 pm)
"Passing" by Mohsen Yeganeh (also "Behet Ghol Midam," also by Yeganeh, one of my favorite songs eveeeer)
"Rayando el sol" by Mana
"Yildizlarin Altinda" by Kargo
"La rose et l'armure" by Antoine Elie
"Un natale italiano" by Anna Tatangelo
U Happy? by Piper Hall
"Ride", "Happy Girl", and "This One's for the Girls" by Martina McBride
"Break My Stride" by Jessica Mauboy - might be more rock than pop, but it's really good!
sorry so many of these are foreign; the only pop I listen to is from other countries because I don't really like American pop! but do give them a try, they're all really good and at any rate it's always interesting to see what music from other countries is like :)

ah and also i would not advise watching the music videos of any of these songs (should they have videos). i don't know if they're inappropriate or not, since i always just listen to the audio version of songs, but they might be, as people always seem to want to make awful violent videos even for the most beautiful, poetic, innocent songs *sigh* the songs in themselves are fine, of course.

I've watched the music video for This One's For the Girls and love it btw :)

Anyone listen to TheFatRat, Halsey, Alan Walker, Yonkagor or The Stupendium? My taste for music is rather hard to pinpoint.
(April 3, 2024 - 9:43 am)
I really love Pride&Fear by TheFatRat & RIELL! But besides that, not really. Do you recommend anything?
(April 3, 2024 - 6:53 pm)
Oh yes Pride and Fear! I really like that song. Have you listened to 'Hiding in the Blue', 'Rise Up', 'Fly Away', 'Monody' or 'Escaping Gravity'? I love them all. (Oh yes, and 'We'll Meet Again' is awesome as well.)
And as for other recommendations:
Halsey: I resonate with 'Colors' a lot. 'Gasoline' has a few swear words in it but I like it overall. 'Castle' is also good.
The Stupendium makes songs/raps about video games (with no swear words, which is great). I don't play any games but they're still fun to listen to. His MVs are always high quality so I really reccomend watching them on his channel.
I think you've possibly heard Alan's music before but just didn't know it was his. His 'Faded' and 'Astronomia' are both well known and my some of favorites.

Ooh I listened to all of them (TheFatRat)- they're all so good!!!!!! :D I especially love Hiding in the Blue and We'll Meet Again, but they really all are great!!
Colors was amazing (everything is BLUE-); I think I recognize the lyrics from your post on one of the music threads? They're amazing! :D
I haven't gotten a chance to listen to the other songs from Halsey and any from The Stupendium yet but I will when I get a chance. I did listen to Faded and Astronomia and I have heard both of them before!! :0 They're both really good too! Thank you!!
