such a cool thread idea!! my song recs for today are all by the band The Strokes! They aren't the only music i listen to but they have some really fantastic songs so here are some of my favorites: Chances, The End Has No End, Ode to the Mets, What Ever Happened?, Brooklyn Bridge to Chorus, Is This It, You Only Live Once, Ask Me Anything, and Hawaii. Sorry there's so many haha, I LOOVE their music. and now, a couple lyrics from Ask Me Anything! it was hard to pick just a few lines haha

hey cool! I also like The Strokes, although I haven't listened to a ton of their stuff. I like The End Has No End, Brooklyn Bridge to Chrous, The Adults are Talking, 12:51, Machu Picchu, and Under Cover of Darkness :D
have you listened to any Good Kid, Phoneboy, Paramore, or Thirty Seconds to Mars? they're all artists/groups who remind me of The Strokes.

If anyone knows about Final Fantasy VII Rebirth yet, listen to the theme song, "No Promises to Keep". It's sung by Loren Allred, (also the same singer who sang "Never Enough" from The Greatest Showman, also one of my other classic favs)
I'm into musicals as well hehe so any song from Wicked, Hamilton, Les Miserables, or Phantom of the Opera will please me :D
And lastly....I am a pop music fan, I know there are definitely a good bunch of people who aren't into it, but...I just can't say no to singing along to any Taylor Swift music when I hear it......

okay so im just gonna dump a bunch of random people i listen to in here because maybe someone else also listens to them? this is gonna be a long post
okay right now im really liking this guy named de'wayne, he's basically a rock artist with some hip/hop and rap infused into it, i love his song 'synthesizer'
i love wasia project, specifically 'ur so pretty' and 'remember when'
idk why but 'barely on my mind' by the regrettes is such a bop i literally don't listen to anything else by them but that song is just *chefs kiss*
steve lacy is really good 'helmet' and 'bad habit' are amazing
and a really good classic band is u2 of course they are absolutely amazing
beabadoobee is great love 'sunny day' and 'the perfect pair' are my favorites
also don't make fun of me lol but willow is so good like 'symptom of life'? amaziiinggg
'too well' by renee rapp aaaaaahhhhh also 'omg' by suki waterhouse mwah
and ofc lana del rey is the absolute best ever 'radio' and 'doin time' are my favs
and then my friend randomly got me into lemon demon and will wood PLS don't ask lolllll
im a hardcore outkast fan also the roots are great too ('the fire' omgggg)
and obviously any musicals of any kind i am a theater kid after all 'dead mom' is hitttingggg right now

oh my gosh, the regrettes!! i recently discovered them, and i really like their music :D to be fair, i've only listened to their album further joy so far, but still. "barely on my mind" is one of my favorites :D
also i might do an artist-dump like you later, that's a cool idea

Idk if you'll see this but I am LOVING the diversity in ur music taste! I also LOVE Will Wood :D and u2 and Lana del Rey and Steve lacy are cool too
