I was digging through Pudding's Place when I found Rose bud's "Writing/Art Contest!" and thought it was a really good idea! So, I'm gonna make one.

Here's how it works:
1. sign up as either an artist or an author.
2. on the 10th (or possibly sooner, whatever) I will assign each CBer a partner. There will be one author and one artist in each group.
3. There will be groups of two rounds. The groups will be judged on both partners' abilities. In the first semi-round, the author will post a short story. (Try to keep the stories under 1000 words) Then, the artist will draw a picture from the story. For the second semi-round, the partners will switch, with the artist posting a picture first, and the author writing a story for the picture.
Rules:
You can request other CBers as your partner.
We won't start until we have perfect two-person teams.
I will periodically post lists of all the authors, artists, and requested teams that we have.
Well, that's it! I'll post anything I've forgotten later, and make sure to ask me if you have any questions.

Hi! So story update:
I was writing, and I ended up with an large amount of emotional and slightly poetic words, but it was pretty much 100% description and emotions (though I was still proud of it) and 0% plot.
so I edited it a little bit, and it came out good, and now there's a tiny bit of plot, though it's still 90% emotions and description. (I think it still sounds good, though, but if it gets a low ranking because of this, I apologize in advance!)
but then I had an idea. what if I made it dual perspective? because apparently everything i write is sad these days, so my little word sketch was about a dying man on a boat in the middle of an ocean who doesn't think anyone cares.
But then at the end it felt incomplete, so I added people's reactions, and it turned out people did care but he never knew, but then it kind of threw the entire story off, so now I'm in the process of editing in a dual perspective because also apparently everything i write has to be in more than one perspective hah
so yeah! I'll post it soon, hopefully :)

alright, here it is! the blobs af color on the ground were supposed to be flower bushes, but they turned out kind of weird. let me know what you think!! :)
