Writing/Art Contest round 2!
Welcome teams to the writing and art contest round two! No CBers who did NOT participate in round one will be allowed to compete. The scores from this round will be combined with the scores from the last round to give you your round 2 score. Here is a list of our current teams and their scores.

The next challenge for the artists to draw a picture (no theme just draw) and for the writers to write a short story inspired by the picture. Please try to keep the stories under 1,000 words. The deadline for drawings is Thanksgiving (Nov. 24). If you or your partner cannot participate for some reason, Clouded Leopard and The Artist can take the place of a missing artist and Autumn Leaves or Applejaguar can take the place of a missing writer. Have fun y'all!

Sorry I haven't been around! I'm pretty stressed with trying to keep my math grade up and the constant pain from my braces (I just got new wires and rubber bands a couple days ago) keeps me grumpy during the day and awake at night until I give in and take some pain meds. Also, I've been just angry and immature and sulky and frustrated and confuzzled and a bunch of other emotions all at once for some reason and it is driving me CRAZY!! I actually condemmed my braces to a certain place today and it is the first time in my memory I've ever sworn. Ever. All this to say, tired me has not found time for the CB in the past few days, BUT, tomorrow I will stay home from my brothers' basketball games and do some writing. I don't know what's happening to crazy me but I have just been feeling generally bleeeeeehhhhhhhhh lately. Don't worry: I'm still peppy Rose bud!
Oh, I'm sorry for you, Rose bud. I hope you can find some comfort in the fact that many, many young people have survived braces. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe others will have some helpful tips.

I have a very valid excuse! Actually, I don't have anything unless you count the fact that I've had the flu all week. BUT ANYWAY, if you haven't done so already, please tell me if you are missing an author or artist and I'll do my best to fill you in. I can always snag one of Cloudy Dweller's drawings (hey, she draws all over my stuff so it's much easier than snagging her phone. Okay, I admit I write all over her stuff so it's only fair).
