It's a regular summer evening. You have your window open, and a faint but cool breeze blows in. Suddenly, the wind blows harder and colder, and a number of dried leaves and a white envelope blows in. You bend down to pick up the envelope and find, to your surprise, that it is closed with a medieval-looking wax seal. The seal bears an emblem of a dragon, curved around a tree. Inside is a letter.
Greetings, CBer:
If you are reading this letter, you have been invited to an exclusive trip. Our organization has found disturbances in an unknown mountain range. We mean to seek out this disturbance and study it; it appears to be a living species. Your assistance is crucial to this project. Though it is entirely at your discretion, we hope you choose to come. If you do so, please fill out the form attatched and leave it on your windowsill with this invitation. Regards,
Lady Saga Tremayne
As you open the envelope to look for the form, you find two pieces of paper. One is folded neatly and seems to be the same cream-colored paper that the invitation was written on. The other is slightlly crumpled and is made of a different paper. It's darker, and bears a water-stain in one corner. Of course, you open the crumpled one. It appears to be completely blank, but as you turn it this way and that, you notice faint and hastily scribbled lettering, reading: Help, CBer! You and the others must go to Lady Tremayne's "expedition," but you must only pretend to follow her orders. What she intends to trap and train is a wild beast, and one that must be protected. I am disguised, but I will give you a message when the time comes.
As soon as you finish reading the note, it crumbles away to dust in your hands.The other paper is a the form:

I don't know what's going to happen next and figured that Evergreen should do it if she comes back, so I basically just did going down the stairs.
Megumi-
Footsteps, faint, enveloped Megumi and Amethyst Dreamchaser as they gingerly crept down the stairs. The two were as far from the rest of the group as they could be without arriving downstairs later than the others or losing the faint light of the lanterns, glowing like dragonfish deep in the ocean, for Megumi had blown out her lantern as soon as she had began to trail behind the group. That was part of why she and Amethyst were so far from the group, but it was not the most pertinent reason; another part was that the stairs, though appearing sturdy, were creaky and ricketty; another that she liked the darkness, when it didn't give her nightmares; another that she had to be careful not to tumble down the stairs for, besides the obvious safety issues, nothing would bring attention to her like that. That was not what Megumi was looking for. She was swathed in cloak and shadown, now. There is an art to being unnoticed, as with everything else.
No human voice wove itself into the darkness. The only voices were the moans of the creaky stairs and the everpresent whispers of the footsteps.

I am going to wait a few days to see if Evergreen posts. But if she doesn’t I think I’ll have to post again. I do hope Evergreen posts soon, I feel she should be the one to move this forward. Meanwhile, help keep this topped please!

oh my gosh I'm so sorry I haven't been posting on the CB! I've been really busy with school finals (online!) ...
everything is fine so far, I really like the way it's going. @HeroesOfOlympus didn't you already have a charrie (Sky?) but a side character is ok. As long as we don't have too many

Before long they had all made it down the stairwell, where two doors awaited them. One was the door they had exited from, the door to the library.
Belle looked at the other door. Weird, she thought. I didn't notice another door when we came in... Glancing at the others, she reached for the library knob, figuring that Lady Tremayne would still be there. It was locked.
In panic, she glanced at the others. "I-I can't open it!" Trillium stepped forward and tried the knob. "She's right. It's locked..."
Belle bit her lip. "Ok...what do we do now?" There was a pause as everyone considered.
"What about the other door?" Emekittycon K spoke from the back of the group.
The silence after this comment settled into the dim corridor. Belle shrugged. "What other choice do we have?" She tried the other door. It was unlocked. She opened it to reveal a hallway leading into darkness.
"Well, let's go, then!" Belle strode through the doorway.
They went down the corridor hesitantly, their lanterns casting bubbles of light on the stone walls. It seemed to grow darker the further they went.
The corridor ended, abruptly, in a wall. Some of the others were examining the wall. There was an inscription, lettered elaborately, engraved deep in the wall, which read: "PASS ME ENEO."
"'Pass Me Eneo'?" Belle said, wrinkling her nose. "What's that supposed to mean?" She looked around the group. She realized something else, suddenly.
"Wait, where's Megumi?"

oof. i forgot about posting a charrie sheet for myself... mustve confused this rp with a ski lodge XD well i can do a side charrie, and i love how this is going so far.
um... i guess i should put a charrie sheet for a side character? (my brain is going SLOW today)
Name: Moon
Age: 16
Gender: in-between. not male or female.
Personality: slightly suspicious of everyone. dutiful to lady tremayne, but really hates their job. Moon would love to be a traveler, see the world and have adventures. They cannot, cannot, cannot! stand secrets, even though their whole life is one to other people. never sleeps.
Abilities: very agile, good at hiding. most people dont notice them, therefor they can learn things by "playing servant" and cleaning nearby people who are having a private conversation.
Appearance: black-blue hair. black eyes, very pale skin, and they wear the servents uniform (black pants or skirt, white shirt, black shoes and LT-Lady Tremayne- embroidered on the front pocket) they have a long black cloak that they wear at night, helps them blend into the shadows.
Other: Moon is a servant in Lady Tremaynes's house. They work in the kitchens, and i hope they can help the main charries sometime...
so happy about this RP it seems awesome. cant wait to do a post.

I'm so sorry I haven't posted! I had a lot of things to finish for the end of the school year. But now school is out and I will post soon. I haven't seen Evergreen on any other threads either and i agree that it seems like she should be the one to move this forward.

I’m so glad you are back! I hope your tests went well.
So, I tried to figure out the anagram, and failed horribly. The only thing that made a little sense I could come up with was “seas open me”, which doesn’t make a lot of sense. Then I saw what Blackfooted Bobcat posted and came close to hitting myself on the forehead. I have no idea how I missed open sesame. Oh well, I’m going to have to work on my anagram solving skills. I had fun trying to solve it though!
