So, my idea is that we are all girls who want to prove that girls are just as good as boys (we're already tomboys) so we create a club called The Tomboy Club, to do this.(Such an original name) We do this by:
~ Playing sports like baseball and football with boys
~ Hanging out with and becoming friends with boys (but not in a lovey mushy way)
~ Not always being the perfect little girls that boys expect us to be
~ Not being overlygirlish (not wearing dresses every day, not being scared of dirt, not "fainting"at the sight of blood.)
~And whatever else we can think of.
We do these things in the first place because we like doing them. We just want to prove our point while doing them.
Then, there will be a group of evil people called: The TABA, or The Terrible And Bad Association, who want to overthrow and take over the government. The government will be looking for boys and men to defeat the TABA, but we apply for the job. They doubt that we'll be able to do anything, but we prove them wrong.
I know it's kind of a random idea, but I hate when people expect boys to be better than girls. Especially with softball and baseball. I feel like they'r saying "here, you're a girl, instead of playing baseball like the boys, you can play softball with a huge ball so that it's easy enough for you." Grrrrrrrrrr....................I'm going to play baseball next year.
So here's the charrie form. All charries are ages 8-15. You can have up to 3 charries if you can handle them. You can make a boy if you want, but it probably won't get to have as big of a part in the story.

So. A competition. I would rather not participate, but I suppose it will be rather cool. Walking back to my classroom, I'm wondering if she will actually succeed. Even if she beats us... Never mind.
I will know soon enough.

"I'll get it!" I shouted over my shoulder to my Mom. Peering through the window, I instantly saw it was Nicole. After grabbing my skateboard, I went to answer the door.
"Hi Nicole!"
"Hey Joan."
"What's up?"
"Well, did you see some girls playing on the soccer field yesterday?"
"Yah, I did. I was going to see if you wanted to approach them and ask what was going on."<!--break-->
"Well, I already did, and,"
"Wait you did? What happened? What were they doing? Tell me everything!" I interrupted her excitedly. After explaining to me about the Tomboy Club, Nicole told me they invited her to join. But in order to join, she had to pass a test.
"I have to beat at least one of them in a sport of my choice."
"What sport did you choose?"
"I chose Archery. In fact, I'm going to the address they told me to go to right now! Care to join?"
"Of course! I wouldn't miss it for anything!"
Nicole smiled, after giving me a playful nudge.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!"
Before leaving, I wrote a quick note to my Mom telling her I would be home in time for dinner, then quickly rode off on my skateboard to follow Nicole.

"D-d-d-dingggg bzz donnnng," our broken doorbell rings.
Jackie runs to open the door and tells me: "It's Nicole and...... a friend of hers."
I run to the door and greet Nicole.
"Are you ready for some archery?" I ask.
"As ready as I'll ever be," she says.
"I'll go set up the target. You can come with me if you want," I tell the girls.
They follow me out the back door and sit in the shade of our weeping willow tree while I retrieve the target, bow, and arrows. When the target is set up, Jackie and I explain the rules to Nicole.
"You get a few minutes to practice, then it's show time."
"For the test, you have ten shots, and you have to get a certain number of points."
"The white is worth 2 pts, black is worth 3 pts, blue is worth 4 pts, red is worth 5 pts, the first yellow is worth 6 pts, and a bulls-eye is worth 10 pts."
"Your goal is to get at least 25 points with you're ten shots."
"Good luck, if you forget how to do something, we'll show you."

I knock an arrow in my bow, and walk fifteen paces away from the target. I pull back the string, and let go. It hits next to the bullseye. Okay, 19 points to go. I shoot another arrow. Another 6. I keep shooting, getting either bullseyes, or just outside of it. By the end, I had around 80 points.
