Tomboy Club RP!

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Tomboy Club RP!

Tomboy Club RP!

So, my idea is that we are all girls who want to prove that girls are just as good as boys (we're already tomboys) so we create a club called The Tomboy Club, to do this.(Such an original name) We do this by:

~ Playing sports like baseball and football with boys

~ Hanging out with and becoming friends with boys (but not in a lovey mushy way)

~ Not always being the perfect little girls that boys expect us to be

~ Not being overlygirlish (not wearing dresses every day, not being scared of dirt, not "fainting"at the sight of blood.)

~And whatever else we can think of.

We do these things in the first place because we like doing them. We just want to prove our point while doing them.

Then, there will be a group of evil people called: The TABA, or The Terrible And Bad Association, who want to overthrow and take over the government. The government will be looking for boys and men to defeat the TABA, but we apply for the job. They doubt that we'll be able to do anything, but we prove them wrong.

I know it's kind of a random idea, but I hate when people expect boys to be better than girls. Especially with softball and baseball. I feel like they'r saying "here, you're a girl, instead of playing baseball like the boys, you can play softball with a huge ball so that it's easy enough for you." Grrrrrrrrrr....................I'm going to play baseball next year.

So here's the charrie form. All charries are ages 8-15. You can have up to 3 charries if you can handle them. You can make a boy if you want, but it probably won't get to have as big of a part in the story.

Sorry, but I don't have time to post this morning. As soon as I get back from camp I'll post. Please wait for me.

Starting time! If your charrie isn't mentioned in this post, check the bottom, below the PoV. BTW I guess this isn't very realistic, but we're pretending that all the girls go to the same school and have recess at the same time.

---------------------------------------------

C.J.-

"Jackie," I say hurriedly as my sister walks by/ "I need you to go find these people and bring them over to the shady spot under those trees," I tell her as I hand her a list of girls' names.

Then I take my own list and go looking for the rest of the girls. I have:

- Jesse Pan

- Edelwiess Black

- Astrid Starfire

- Commander

- General B.

I dash across the blacktop to where I see Jesse trying to talk with some girls, but I know she's really uncomfortable and would much rather be with someone that likes the same things she does.

"Can you come with me for a few minutes?" I ask. "I need to find a few more girls and then tell all of you something. If you don't like my idea you can leave, but I think you'll like this."

"Umm... okay...," she says, "but I don't know you very well."

"That's OK, but do you happen to know Astrid Starfire?" I ask.

"A little, we're in the same class," she replies.

"Would you mind getting her and coming back to me?" I ask.

She says okay so I run off to find Edelwiess. I spot her on the monkey bars and tell her then same thing that I told Jesse. She follows me over to where Commander and General B. are sitting on a rock. (@H.S. Crooney- do you mind if Commander and General B. are friends?) I ask my question once again and am glad to have Edelwiess there because it probably makes it more convincing. They say yes and I can tell that they are a little bit curious. Then Jesse comes dashing up with Astrid. "Hey C.J. I found Astrid, what next?"

I bring them over to a patch of trees and am glad to see that Jackie is waiting there.

"Hi everyone," I say. "I know you're all probably wondering why I brought you here. It's because Jackie and I had an idea. We want to form a tomboy club. I've noticed that you guys seem to either not mind hanging out with boys, like playing sports that are supposedly for boys, and would love to prove that we're just as good as boys. Jackie and I are like that too. If you don't like this idea you can leave now, but we'd love it if you stayed......Well, that's it I guess."

"A tomboy club, I like it," Astrid says.

"Sounds good," says Cordeilia.

"I can't wait to start," Jesse says enthusiastically.

And I can tell that no one will be leaving.

------------------------------------------------------

@Lindsey R.- I didn't include Nicole in this because I was wondering if you wanted her to find the Tomboy Club instead of the TC finding her.

Anyone that has a boy charrie- your charries didn't really have anything to do with/in this post.

Jackie brought Ivy, Miki, And Cordelia, but Ivy and Miki weren't mentioned in this post since it was already so long and I didn't feel like posting from Jackie's PoV.

Don't worry, everyone that signed up for this RP will be included.

Cool Thanks! Here's my Character:

Name: Joan Blackwood

Age:13  Group: Girl

Appearance: Long brown hair, green eyes with some blue mixed in. Usually wears her hair in a loose ponytail or hanging down. Loves to wear bootcut pants, a purple shirt, a belt and worn out tennishoes. Hates skirts and dresses, only wears them when neccessary.<!--break-->

Personality: Talks in slang/skateboard language, (although her mom punishes her for using it around the house.) She always looks at the bright side of things. You can count on her to lend a hand and reach out to others. Don't get on her bad side though! She has a very quick temper.

Other: She has one sister who is 6, and a brother who is 8. Her favorite things to do is skateboard, and read. When you see her, she either has a skateboard in hand, or a book. Her favorite color is Royal Purple (black is a close second) and her favorite characters from history are Joan of Arc and Theodora.

Are they at a charter school? Cause most of them would be in junior high, but the others would still be in elementary.

Nicole~

I sit on one of the swings, and work on some sketches. I mean, I'm 14. I'm too old for recess. I look over at one of the shady trees where my friends and I usually hang out. I'm not over there now, because my friends are sick. I notice a group of girls that don't usually hang out, talking under the tree in hushed whispers. That's odd. I wonder what's going on with them.

@Lindsey R.- I'm not sure what a charter school is, but I did think about the different school/ recess thing, and I think it would work best if we just have them go to the same school and be outside at the same time. Normally I would try to figure something else out, but I think it would be really confusing.

A charter school has uniforms, and it goes through elementary and junior high. I know. I've been to one. And they usually end their name with "Academy".

Miki~

Hm, a tomboy club, sounds fun. But do these guys know about Dissociative Identity Disorder? I must enlighten them! Good thing I always keep a bunch of sugar packets in my pocket!

I pull out enough so that there's one for everyone and say, "Now, I move that we all do the Dissociative Identity Disorder Sugar Packet Challenge! It's where you pour a sugar packet on your head to raise awareness for Dissociative Identity Disorder!" and with that, I rip open a sugar packet and without further ado empty the contents into my black hair.

____________

Miki always carries seemingly infinite sugar packets in her pockets. She takes one when her "central nervous system needs a jump start. The refined sugar goes straight to the bloodstream!"

Ivy~

l eye the suger packets and Miki's hair. What? l would never do that. l almost say, forgeting that this is a "tomboy club"

"l don't see how dumping suger all over yourself can help anything."

"It's to raise awareness."

"Ha. l see that-" "Oh would you please quit arguing?" says  C.J., pushing us apart.

OK, they can be at a charter school, but how about we pretend that girls don't always have to wear a dress.

At the charter school I went to, girls could where pants. They just had to be navy blue,  or khakis

OK, sounds good. They go to a charter school. The school is called Lincoln Acadamey.  The TC can wear dresses or pants and shirts, whatever you want your character to wear.
