Tomboy Club RP!

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Tomboy Club RP!

Tomboy Club RP!

So, my idea is that we are all girls who want to prove that girls are just as good as boys (we're already tomboys) so we create a club called The Tomboy Club, to do this.(Such an original name) We do this by:

~ Playing sports like baseball and football with boys

~ Hanging out with and becoming friends with boys (but not in a lovey mushy way)

~ Not always being the perfect little girls that boys expect us to be

~ Not being overlygirlish (not wearing dresses every day, not being scared of dirt, not "fainting"at the sight of blood.)

~And whatever else we can think of.

We do these things in the first place because we like doing them. We just want to prove our point while doing them.

Then, there will be a group of evil people called: The TABA, or The Terrible And Bad Association, who want to overthrow and take over the government. The government will be looking for boys and men to defeat the TABA, but we apply for the job. They doubt that we'll be able to do anything, but we prove them wrong.

I know it's kind of a random idea, but I hate when people expect boys to be better than girls. Especially with softball and baseball. I feel like they'r saying "here, you're a girl, instead of playing baseball like the boys, you can play softball with a huge ball so that it's easy enough for you." Grrrrrrrrrr....................I'm going to play baseball next year.

So here's the charrie form. All charries are ages 8-15. You can have up to 3 charries if you can handle them. You can make a boy if you want, but it probably won't get to have as big of a part in the story.

Thanks so much Lindsey R. Aunrey L., Shadow Dragon, and Somebody for postig PoVs, and especially to Lindsey R. For being on this RP nonstop and keeping it alive with me. Applejaguar, I'm glad to see that you haven't abandoned. I understand that people are busy, but this could die very easily if no one else that joined posted. You guys have no idea how much it means to me that you've been posting.

@Dragonrider, you are so welcome! I love posting things, and keeping posts alive is one of my jobs. :) I really hate it when a post dies. Anyways, here is my 1st post for my charrie, maybe we can start some things up around here! If there's some activity, maybe the people who made charries will come back.

Riding on my skateboard, I let out a big "Whoop!" as I look for my best friend Nicole. "Nicky, Nicky where are you?" I shout. <!--break-->

I keep looking for her, usually she hangs out on the swings drawing her cool sketches. When a girl hears me, she said that Nicky left for home early.

"Maybe she was feeling sick," she suggested.

"Nah, that's not like her. Thanks anyways!" I replied, and racing off on my skateboard went to go flip some cool tricks. On the way, I spied some girl playing soccer. "Interesting, none of them are boys. Usually it's only the boys that play soccer, not girls." Wanting to go check it out, I spun my skateboard around and skidded over them to see if I could play too but then changed my mind, reminding myself to tell Nicky of what I saw. Maybe we could all play together, if the girls were still there tommorrow.

Spit~

Dear Journalthatisnotadiarybecauseanyonecanreaditiftheywant,

Today has been interesting. One of the girls in our school has a great idea to help us express ourselves. I've always hated "acting like a girl." She's created a Tomboy Club to help us feel more freedom to not act like stupid girly-girls. I don't like girls (even myself sometimes). They're dramatic and make a big deal out of everything. Boys are actually smarter. They don't freak out if their friends need some time alone! They don't act like one choice of what dress to wear could destroy the world. But I'm getting off track.

Most of all, I hate how people act like just because I'm a girl I can't do anything. "You're a girl. Football is to dangerous for you. You could hit your pretty head on the ball." Oh my gosh! I know the risks. No one who loved their "pretty little head" that much would ask to play football. I want to play because I love the game! Girls are just as good as boys. I can do anything a boy can do!

Speaking of football, fütbol today has had a big improvement. The girls stole back the field with the help of the Tomboy Club! I can play soccer, finally! What a big improvement to recess! Now I can practice my fakes every day! I love soccer!!!!

But I don't know if the Tomboy Club is a good idea. I know from experience that clubs like these don't last long.

TOP TOPPITY TOP TOP

C.J.-

We sit in the shade of the big tree and try to think of something to do. Someone suggests soccer and I smile. I've always loved soccer. I've been playng it since I was 4 and I'm 13 now! Plus, I've tried playing with the boys, but when I get close they tell me to go away. It'll be fun to take over the soccer field and teach those boys a lesson.

We  reach the field and choose teams just in time. Right as we start playing, the boys rush over with confused looks on their faces.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" one of them shouts.

"Playing soccer, what does it look like we're doing?" Edelwiess shouts back.

"It looks like a bunch of sissy girls decided to take over our soccer field and try to look cool," says another boy.

"Oh yeah? Who says it's your soccer field?" I ask.

"Yeah, we're playing because we like to, and you know what, I bet we could beat you in a boys vs girls game. C.J. Is the on the highest elite girl's team in the city for soccer and she's won 3 championships!" Jackie yells.

Jackie isn't usually very aggressive, but when she is, she's super determined, and won't give up. I don't know if we have much of a chance against the boys, but turning down this opportunity would just prove us to be the dumb girls that they thing we are.

"Boys vs girls?" a boy says, snickering. "Sure, why not, it'll be fun to see you fail."

"Oh, we won't fail. Just you wait and see," I say.

-------------------------

"Guys, no matter how bad you may think you are at soccer, try your hardest. I know we can win. They may be bigger and stronger, but they think this is a joke and that it'll be over in 5 minutes. We're determined  and we'll show those nasty boys that we're 100% better than they expect. I believe that we can do this as the TC Club. Play hard and work together. Those boys will be sorry they ever decided to play," I say as we run onto our side of the field.

--------------------------

The game was much better than I expected. Jackie was goalie and she made 6 amazing saves, only letting two goals in. Everyone played hard like I encouraged them to, and we were great. I scored a goal in the first few minutes, and later in the game, Cordelia/Spit, Jesse, and Miki did too. I know Jesse is more geeky and smart and probably didn't expect much of herself, but she scored the tiebraking goal! The final score was 4-2, we won. Jackie and I looked at each other and smiled. We beat the boys!

Jesse~

I'm happy. Extremely happy.

I knew the other girls wheren't my type of tomboy. They where althetic, while I was more geeky and, to be honest, I wasn't into sports. But.. When I scored that tiebreaking goal, I felt a grin stretch across my face. It stayed there for most of the day.

I have gotten to know the people a bit better. Miki is weird, Spit is pretty much the exact opposite of me, Ed is debating, and Astrid is brave.... I think I'm also universally known as 'the geek', in this club and everywhere else.

Nicole~

(And the very next day) I sit at the edge of the field, surveying the group. They're playing soccer. I muster up some courage, and walk over to them. They pause their game when I come over. "Um, may I ask what you were doing yesterday?"

Sorry it's short. Just trying to figure out how this should go.

Spit~

Today a girl comes up to us while we're playing soccer. I stop the ball and stand still to look at her. She's wearing jeans with lavendar polka dots, and a light blue swaeter with a cat's face on it. "I like your sweater." I tell her. She seems a lot older than me. Her honey-blonde hair swings when she walks." Thanks." she replies, then adds,"May I ask what you were doing yesterday?"

"It's complicated." says Jesse. I like Jesse. I wish shedidn't think of herself as such a geek. It sort of brings her down. But she's a great soccer player. The goal I scored yesterday was one of my first. I think the TC boosts my confidence. But back to the story. "It's complicated." "But come over here and we'll explain it." says Astrid, who recognizes a good recruit when she sees one. I think Nicole Riley (that's the girl's name) is joining the club!

Jackie-

During our soccer game a girl walks up and asks what we're doing. I don't know who she is, though she looks much older than me. We tell her what the TC is, an she seems to like the idea. She tells us her name is Nicole Riley. C.J. And I look at each other and C.J. nods. I step closer to Nicole and say:

"Nicole, would you like to be part of the Tomboy Club? Do you want to pledge your allegiance to the flag of the United Girls of the Tomboy Club? Do you want to break away from your previous life and become an official tomboy? Shall we bestow this glorious honor on you?"

"Is it really that complicated?" She asks

"Nah, I'm just trying to talk importantly-ish and make this sound like the most serious thing in the world." I reply

---------------------------------

@Lindsey R. Nicole is your charrie right? If so, I need you to post whether she joins the club or not.

Nicole~

"Um, okay. I'll join." "Okay, your in." "Wait." A tall girl with messy chestnut hair steps up. "We should test her. Just to make sure." "Okay, test it is. What should the test be?" "You," the dirty blonde-haired girl says, pointing at me, "think of a sport. Any sport will do, and that will be your test." "Archery." It was the first one to come to my mind. "Okay, archery. You have to beat at least one of us at archery. If you do, you're in the club." "I have some bows and arrows at my house, plus some targets. I can bring them to where ever my test will be." "Let us decide where to do it." They all huddle in a group and whisper for a second, before they emerge. "We will do it at my house. I'll write my address down for you." She takes a piece of paper from her pocket, grabs a pencil from her backpack, jots down her address, and hands it to me. Just then, the bell rings to go back to class.
