Character RP.

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Character RP.

Character RP.

We need some new RPs. True, Future RP and Minecraft RP are slowly lifting off the ground. That's great. The thing is, I'm not patient enough. I need to write. Now.

So here's my idea--A character RP. In other words, you take a character you have written/read (Written might be better, just because). You can tweak them so they're easier for you to write as a narrative here. (coughcough Yes, Zero, you fail of a protagonist, I'm talking to YOU coughcouugh)

I was thinking they could all get trapped in the same world, a world that's not there own. We can all shape the world as we're writing, but let's call it Vicinity.

Of course, there must aslo be conflict. That can arise almost instantly--they've been sucked out of their worlds, right?

Here's my character:

Name: Cazi

Read/Written: Written

{If Read, from what? (Same for Written, really)}: Outcast of Space. This will help me with Cazi, hopefully.

Age: 13

Appearance: Average height, Orange hair, cat ears, green eyes, cat tail, jacket with blue and black buttons, jeans. Small brown sack she wears around her neck. I don't know what it's filled with, though.

Personality: Kind, kind of quiet. She has a tendency to speak up when nervous, strangely enough. A good survivor who is often questioning authorities. She has grown used to being an outcast, though. It's who she is, really. A loyal friend. Not any good at any time of combat though.

Cazi~

"We're almost landing," Sapphire informed me, sitting at the controls of the ship.

"Good," I told him. "The sooner we can land and I can get a good, warm shower, the better."

He laughed.

I walked into the below deck. No one was there. I wondered where Olive was. The awful snoring from across the hall was quick to inform me.

I sat down at the small table in the below deck, all hooked up with gadgetry. Logging into a small, sleek white computer, I sighed. "Welcome," it said, with it's whimsicle automated voice.

"Hi," I said, bored. "I need to know about Creen."

Creen was the planet we would be staying at next. Perhaps even more than a day, since Creen was extremely isolated. I was thinking about my warm shower, and really wishing the computer would hurry up and load the results.

"Vicinity," it beeped intead. "Vincinity. Vincinity."

I sat up. "What? There's nothing nearbye here except for asteroids and plain space! There are no vicinites within lightyears of here!"

"Vicinity," I heard it say one last time, before the world fell into a sudden darkness.

_____________________________________________________

I was on the ground, my eyes closed and my body sprawled out.

The ground. Of my spaceship? I opened my eyes, and closed them again quickly.

No.

I wasn't on the space ship... I was on real, firm ground.

"Vicinity" popped into my head, and then "Warm shower."

I shook my head. I was on some unknown planet and all I could think of was a shower?!

I sat up and looked around. This place did NOT look like the kind of place where you would find warm showers....

Cazi Cat~

I wasn't sure of what to make of Nav. Of course, I wasn't sure what to make of my current situation at all. Nav, Nat, and Harmony were making sure that the strawberries were edible (Spolier: They were both edible and delicious) while I was scanning the area for any signs of the monster we had seen earlier.

Nothing. I couldn't pick up anything either, not something that sounded like heavy footsteps. Of course, for all I knew the monster could be very light footed. When we saw him at first everything was so noisey and loud I couldn't much make out a single monster's footsteps.

But I did hear other footsteps. Two people running. They were far away, with the slight sound of a stream near them. Siq and Ira, I figured. But why would they be running? I shurgged it off and brought my ears back to the present situation.

"You guys!" I exclaimed in horror. "Don't eat all the strawberries! We want to save some for other people!"

Harmony looked up at me, a look of desperation in her eyes. "That's the thing," she groaned. "They keep reappearing. And once you have one, you can't seem to stop."

Ugh! My computer keeps freezing and deleting my segment of the story. This is my third time writing this!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Harmony~

Nat, Nav and I started picking strawberries while Cazi stood on the hill looking out for the monster.

I honestly thought Cazi was overreacting, we had scared the monster off earlier today and anyways the monster had run in the opposite direction from where we were at. No matter what I said, Cazi would not come and help us pick the strawberries. I shrugged and continued on with my task.

The strawberries were beautiful, their skin deep red and their skin gleaming in the warm sunlight.unable to help myself, I popped one in my mouth. Sweet juice exploded in my mouth. These were perfect strawberries! I ate another one before Nat said, "Hey, we are supposed to pick the strawberries, not eat them". "I know, but I just wanted to test them to make sure they are not poisonous. Anyways they are delicious. Try one," I said, handing her one. She ate it, "Mmm! These are good!" She said. "I know,"I said eating another.

"What are you doing?" Nav asked, walking over to where we were. Nat and I ignored her and continued with our feast. Nav, obviosly annoyed, decided to pop one in her mouth. "These are amazing!" Nav said, eating another.

Strawberry after strawberry ended up in our stomachs instead of in our baskets. We could not stop, even though we were getting full. I continued to pick and eat starting with one plant and moving to another. After finishing a row, I looked back and noticed the bush was full of strawberries, even though I had already eaten. "Hey guys, come over here! The berries have regrown!" I exclaimed. "Stop pulling our legs!" Nav said. "I'm not!" I said, "Watch this." I pulled a berry off the plant. Thirty seconds later a new berry magically appeared. "Wow! Let's eat!" Nav said. We did.

Cazi noticed what we were doing, "You guys! Don't eat all of the strawberries! We want to save some for other people!" She was horrified.

I looked at her, " That's the thing, they keep reappearing and once you have one, you can't seem to stop".

Cazi looked bewildered, and kept looking at the berries. While she was thinking, zi continued to eat. The berries were amazing! Suddenly Cazi grabbed my arms and started to pull me away from the strawberries. "What are you doing! Stop it!" I yelled. "You will thank me someday," Cazi grunted.  I started to kick and scratch. "I said let me go," I screamed at her. My words fell upon deaf ears.

Cazi dragged me out nearly a quarter mile before I calmed down. "Woh, I am so sorry," I said looking at the scratches I made on Cazi's arms. "Thanks, I am glad you got me out of there.  I never want to see another strawberry again," I groaned. Cazi nodded, then ran off to fetch the other two.

When we all were gathered Cazi said, "Let's go find some food, but we have to be careful, the other food could be dangerous". We nodded, then walked again.

Jamie- (I'm picking up where I left off in my story. Just saying you guys might have a hard time understanding me at first, because I speak a different language.)

The marble was rolling too quickly. It turned suddenly and rolled out of view into a crowded cave. I started to run after it, but just as I caught a glimpse of the silver ball, a puddle appeared in front of me. Unable to stop my momentum, I dove in and aimed for the right of the murky waters, hoping to come up somewhere near its most recent location. The current of water was going up now. Too high. It was another thirty seconds before I shot up out of a shard of glass and into a rabbits hole. I clawed my way out and reached back down to pick up the shard of glass. It was growing rapidly in the sunlight. I quickly put it in my special coat pocket and analyzed my surroundings. It definately wasn't anywhere in Vvundairlan (vun-dare-lahn), Oordairlan (or-dare-lahn), Rrydairlan (rye-dare-lahn), Qqordairlan (quor-dare-lahn), or LLaluwlam (la-luh-lam). I shivered, wondering whether I was trespassing in Unsepokeinlaand (un-seh-poke-een-lawnd). I tried to contact Alyze, but my glazer wasn't working. Suddenly I heard a twig snap. I whirled around, fists clenched, just in time for my bro to stop me.

"What up little sis?"

"Where are we? How did you get here? Where is Patrick, Lavi, Winnie, Razi, Fable, and Joel?"

He looked at me with a sad expression.

"I found Patrick, Lavi and Winnie. They are down by the river... but I don't think my fiance, Patrick's girlfriend, or your boyfriend are here. Sorry. As for where we are, I don't know, but I'll find out soon."

I let those words sink in. Not only was Joel MIA, but Art didn't have a clue to our location. That's what bothered me the most. My brother was trained to always be calm and alert, have insane reflexes and skills, and to know everything. Although it was clear he still had the first two down, I was scared about the third. Suddenly I heard voices nearby.

And here is where I end this post. I was thinking you guys could find us now.

Okay, since no one has posted on this thread in while, it might now be still going, but anyway, I think it's really cool and am going to add.

Character

Name: Tia

Age: Hm. . . oh, oh I got it, okay fourteen

Written or read: She's from my book series I'm writing, the Virons. She's the main character's . . . um. . . love interest? kinda like that.

Description:

Long, fluffy auburn hair (picture Merida's hair from Brave, except a little darker), pale skin, deep green eyes, tall and willowy, yet really strong. She's wearing the armor Max (my main character) had just given her, it's a little bloody and gross, but otherwise it's fine. It's sleek, not bulky like knight's armor, and her hair is loose. Oh, and she has a brown backpack on her back. Altogether, she's really pretty.

Personality:

Friendly, to some extent. Really stuborn and protective of the people she cares about. Doesn't cry that much, more handles grief queitly. Kind of reckless, if she thinks what she's doing is right. Is skilled at fighting and strategizing.

History:

She comes from the slums of London, were she had lived on the streets with her little sister, Nadia and her bodyguard/protecter guy, Dalian and his girlfriend, Rema. Her afther had been a drunkard and hadn't really taken care of her and Nadia, so she ran away. Ends up on the Villion (a world in my story) after Rema is murdered and Nadia is taken (forcefully) captive. Makes friends with some of the other (sane) kids there and. . . yeah, that's basically her, or what I can tell you about her without you haven read my books.

Okay, so here goes:

"Run!" Max screamed, his voice shrill in the on-coming storm.

I ran, my boots slipping on the slick bridge. The Gooblingheds' footsteps pounded in my ears. Farren screamed, overwhelmed by the monsters.

"No, Farren!" I spun around, facing the enemy. But Farren was already gone, swallowed up by the legoins of Gooblingheds.

"Come on, Tia, run! We'll save her later!" Max called, his voice seeming faraway, due to the roar of the wind. The bridge trembled. A crack appeared at my feet. Part of the marble fell away, my left foot slipped and then I was hanging, only holding on by one exhasted hand. I screamed.

"Don't let go!" Max yelled, running back towards me.

"I. . . I have to let go!" I stared down at the endless black void below her, "Find Dalian and the key!" I threw the dagger up onto the slippery marble.

He said something, his voice carried off by the ever-rising wind.

I let go. I exptected to fall into the heart of the storm and be sucked to The Puppet Master's fortress. Insteed, there was only darkness.

~*~

I woke up on a shore of an ocean, the waves pounding in her ears. An ocean? I hadn't seen the ocean since she was. . . what? Ten?

The sand felt warm beneath me and I had a sudden urg to just go back to sleep. To sleep forever. But then it all came back. I had to find out where she was. And how to get back.

I sat up, feeling more rested then she had since at least five months ago, maybe more. A clean, white beach spread out before me, the blue-green ocean sparkling in the distance. A thick jungle started a little ways away, it's tangled underbrush seemingly untraversable. I seemed to be alone.

I streched, enjoying the feel of unweariness in my muscles. I stood up, and started walking towards the trees. I was starving and most likly to find food in the jungle then on the beach. Plus, I wanted to see if their was anyone else here but me. I was used to ending up in weird worlds, but this was the only time I had been completely alone in them.

The jungle was a lot farther then I had thought, and half way there I stopped to rest. Before I knew it, I was back asleep, drfiting between uneasy dreams.

~*~

Okay, I was thinking you guys could find Tia now, when you guys come to the ocean.

This has died, but I'll go ahead and write something.

Nat ~

We tramped through the woods, looking for anything that looked even mildly edible. I was slightly freaked out after the strawberry incident, so I was careful not to even touch anything. I stilled suddenly, listening carefully. I could have sworn I heard voices.

"You heard it too?" Cazi whispered. I nodded. I glanced at Harmony, who nodded. I put a finger to my lips, and gestured. The other two nodded. The voices had gone silent, as if listening to us. I mouthed, "On three." One, two, three..

We broke through the brush into a small clearing. A boy and girl, evidently brother and little sister, gazed at us cautiously.

"Who are you?" I demanded.

"I'm Jamie, and this is my brother Aurthur." The girl said.

"Let me guess, you just showed up here, and you have now idea how?" I asked. They nodded. I inwardly groaned. I glanced at Harmony and Cazi, who shrugged in a "well what can we do?" sort of way.

"Come with us. We're in the same boat, unless you know how to get back, of course," I said, turning "I'm Nat, by the way, and that's Cazi and Harmony".

We pushed back into the thick vegetation, and after a few seconds, I could hear them following. About five hundred yards later, I tripped over something, nearly spewing off several unsuitable things.

"I'm getting properly sick of this place!" I shouted, rubbing my ankle. I looked up, and nearly went off again when I saw what I'd tripped over. A girl with thick auburn hair dressed in what looked like blood stained armour was staring eye level back at me with a shocked expression.

"Another one?!" I shouted up to Cazi and Harmony, who both looked as shocked as me. "How do we all keep coming here?!" I looked back at the girl, who seemed to be about my age.

"Who are you?" I asked. She seemed to hesitate, before answering, "Tia."

"Well, Tia, I'm Nat, and this is Cazi and Harmony. I guess you should come with us." I stood up, as if addressing the whole group. "We're all stranded here, and none of us know how to get home, so it's best if we stick together."

So, this isn't very good, but it's a basic introduction for everyone. In case you couldn't tell, I stink at making introductions, but there you go.

Better than any introduction I would've done!

Cazi~

People were multiplying by the second. Nat was getting annoyed, but there was really nothing we could do about it. We had all landed here somehow, and I was pretty sure we were all intent on getting back to where we came from.

I thought about my friends, Sapphire and Olive. Had they noticed I was gone? Were they arguing about it? Probably yes. I sighed to myself.

"Hey, it'll be okay," said Harmony. "We'll find a way out of here." I smiled thankfully at her, but still felt devestated.

"We haven't found any food," announced Nat, "but we've found other people. I say we head back to camp."

We haven't found any food.... ha. I shuddered slightly, remembering the strawberries.

With no better plan, we did head back to camp, though we got lost a few times and it was hard to keep track of Harmony, Nat, Nav, Arthur, Jamie, and Tia as well as stay on track.

It was almost fun. We were exploring, getting lost, and sometimes even laughing. The underlying theme that we were all stranded was still there, though.

We got back to camp. Siq and Ira were not there. I remembered the footsteps, the creek. I perked up my ears, tried to see if I could still hear them, but I knew I would be too far away.

Nat, Nav, Harmony, and I felt almost comfortable stranded on the island compared to Arthur, Jamie, and Tia. Of course, we showed small signs of not being comfortable. Being hesitant, nervous, and jumpy, were just some of the things I noticed.

"Excuse me," said Jamie, who had been staring for awhile, "are those real cat ears on you head?"

"I've got a tail, too." I flicked it around to show her.

"I've never seen someone... with such cat-like features as you...?" Jamie tried not to put it rudely.

"I'm pretty much the only one I know too. And me, I'm an outcast. An outcast of space."

This whole segment was pointless. I'm sorry.

(September 22, 2013 - 9:12 am)

Tia--

I carefully studied my companions. The one who had called herself Cazi, had cat ears and tail. The others were looking a her weird, as if having animal parts was abnormal. I reminded myself, most of these people proabably come from Earth and have never seen things like that before. Me? I'd seen millions. And killed millions, my conscience whispered to me. Shut up! I told it angrily. Now was not the time to be guilty about things I'd had to do. Of course, it didn't shut up.

Questions swirled in my brain. Where had they all come from? One of the other worlds? Or another universe entirely? Where was I? I thought I had visited all the Hundred Worlds. What one was this? How would I get back? Would I ever get back?

Sometimes we'd get lost, and start laughing at random things. It reminded me of a mission, back when we'd all been together. Before. . . I couldn't--wouldn't think about it right now.

One of the others, Jamie spoke up, "Excuse me, are those real cat ears?"

Of course they are, I thought. They don't look fake. Unless Cazi made them out of real skin, then they'd have to be real.

"I've got a tail, too" Cazi flicked her tail around to show it.

"I've never seen someone... with such cat-like features as you...?" Jamie said, uncertainly.

"I'm pretty much the only one I know too. And me, I'm an outcast. An outcast of space."

Space? I thought. How'd she get there?

"I've seen people of your kind." I spoke up.

"You have?" She asked, suprised.

"Yeah. My friend, Farron is one. She doesn't live in space, though" I added.

"Oh." She sounded thoughtful, maybe a bit sad.

We walked in silence for while.

"How many are here?" I asked.

"A lot, I'm not sure the number." Harmony replied.

"Oh." I said softly. I wondered if any of my friends were here. Max could have even ended up here! "Have you seen a tall black-haired teenager, with armor like mine?"

"No, I don't think so. Why?"

I felt my face go red. How could he be here; why would he be here? I should ahve been happy he wasn't stuck here, like me, but I couldn't. "No reason."

Nav studied me. A smile twitched at the corners of her mouth. I knew that look from hours of avoiding Alana's questions. "Are you sure?" Shec asked, teasingly.

My face got redder, "Yeah."

The wind whispered through the leaves. Danger. Danger. It seemed to say. A crash shook the forest. I froze.

Nat ~

I walked a little ways ahead of the group, vaguely
listening to their banter. We'd gotten lost several times, making me at a
cross between thoroughly agitated, and highly amused. Suddenly a large crash echoed through the jungle. We all froze.

"What now?" I hissed at Cazi, who shook her head at me.

"It's that was too big to be that bat," she said. Another crash, this time closer. It was coming this way.

"Run," Tia said, and we all shot forward, tripping over roots and breaking through the foliage. Whatever was behind us had sped up too.

I glanced over my shoulder, which is probably the worst thing we could have done. I knew about these things, and had even seen them before when a time traveler managed to bring one back for studying. But only time travelers had, since most planets believed them extinct. A tyrannosaurus rex charged toward us.

"You've GOT to be kidding me," I muttered as we ran.

"How are we supposed to outrun THAT?!" Jamie shrieked.

"We're not," I responded, jerking to a stop. "It can't follow all of us!" I grabbed a large rock, and threw it as hard and far as I could toward the beast. That certainly got it's attention.

"Head toward the clearing!" I screamed over my shoulder as I ran in the opposite direction from the others. Hopefully, it would follow me, and not them.
