Character RP.
Chatterbox: Inkwell
Character RP.
Character RP.
We need some new RPs. True, Future RP and Minecraft RP are slowly lifting off the ground. That's great. The thing is, I'm not patient enough. I need to write. Now.
So here's my idea--A character RP. In other words, you take a character you have written/read (Written might be better, just because). You can tweak them so they're easier for you to write as a narrative here. (coughcough Yes, Zero, you fail of a protagonist, I'm talking to YOU coughcouugh)
I was thinking they could all get trapped in the same world, a world that's not there own. We can all shape the world as we're writing, but let's call it Vicinity.
Of course, there must aslo be conflict. That can arise almost instantly--they've been sucked out of their worlds, right?
Here's my character:
Name: Cazi
Read/Written: Written
{If Read, from what? (Same for Written, really)}: Outcast of Space. This will help me with Cazi, hopefully.
Age: 13
Appearance: Average height, Orange hair, cat ears, green eyes, cat tail, jacket with blue and black buttons, jeans. Small brown sack she wears around her neck. I don't know what it's filled with, though.
Personality: Kind, kind of quiet. She has a tendency to speak up when nervous, strangely enough. A good survivor who is often questioning authorities. She has grown used to being an outcast, though. It's who she is, really. A loyal friend. Not any good at any time of combat though.
Cazi~
"We're almost landing," Sapphire informed me, sitting at the controls of the ship.
"Good," I told him. "The sooner we can land and I can get a good, warm shower, the better."
He laughed.
I walked into the below deck. No one was there. I wondered where Olive was. The awful snoring from across the hall was quick to inform me.
I sat down at the small table in the below deck, all hooked up with gadgetry. Logging into a small, sleek white computer, I sighed. "Welcome," it said, with it's whimsicle automated voice.
"Hi," I said, bored. "I need to know about Creen."
Creen was the planet we would be staying at next. Perhaps even more than a day, since Creen was extremely isolated. I was thinking about my warm shower, and really wishing the computer would hurry up and load the results.
"Vicinity," it beeped intead. "Vincinity. Vincinity."
I sat up. "What? There's nothing nearbye here except for asteroids and plain space! There are no vicinites within lightyears of here!"
"Vicinity," I heard it say one last time, before the world fell into a sudden darkness.

I was on the ground, my eyes closed and my body sprawled out.
The ground. Of my spaceship? I opened my eyes, and closed them again quickly.
No.
I wasn't on the space ship... I was on real, firm ground.
"Vicinity" popped into my head, and then "Warm shower."
I shook my head. I was on some unknown planet and all I could think of was a shower?!
I sat up and looked around. This place did NOT look like the kind of place where you would find warm showers....

Cazi~
"Okay, kid. Who are you? What am I doing here?" someone asked. I looked up. It seemed they were adressing me.
"I'm Cazi," I said, raising an eyebrow, and realising it was too late for any good disgues, half the people here already knew my name! "As for what you're doing here, it's something all of us would like to know."
The girl stared at me for a moment, as if she didn't understand. "We're all lost," I went on. "Somehow hopelessly lost." She continued to stare. "What is it?" I finnaly asked, irritated.
"Why do you resemble a cat?"
"Why do you resemble an evolution of an ape?"
She shurgged and gave up.

Harmony~
"Why do you remeble an evolution of an ape?" Cazi replied.
I've got to admit it was a good come back. So, I just shrugged and walked away.
What am I doing here? I thought. Just then, the girl with the rainbow streaked hair came running into the field like someone was chasing her.

Sorry, it's short, but I don't know what else to say.

Assuming you're referring to Ira with the shark bit, Ira is a boy's name. And Ira is a boy.

Oh...
(July 9, 2013 - 6:03 pm)
Me with a bullhorn would be a bad idea.

Nat ~
I traveled deeper into the jungle, glancing around. I knelt down and felt the dirt. It was dry, so there wasn't any nearby water source. I forged on, using a knife I always kept in my pocket to cut slashes into the trees, marking my trail. After awhile, I knelt down again. The ground was damper this time. Suddenly, I heard a tremendous crack. I jumped up and out of the way as a huge branch came crashing down.
"What the heck?" I said, as I looked up. A large, black figure was perched on a tree. It had wings, and pointed ears. "Nooo," I said, squinting at it. The thing then screeched, and swooped down at me. I screamed and started running back the way I'd come, crashing through vines and branches. I continued to trip up on roots and low branches of bushes.
I don't remember so many obstacles through here! I thought to myself as I picked myself up again for the fifth time. The large creature, which I had now reasoned was an abnormaly sized bat, continued following me. It screeched every so often, causing my heart to stop, then race. I broke out of the jungle, and shouted; "RUN!"
(July 4, 2013 - 3:29 pm)
Harmony~
When Natalie shouted, "RUN", everyone except me ran in the opposite direction. We couldn't run, we had to fight. "Come back here, you scaredy-cats," I yelled. Cazi turned around and glowered at me. "No offense, Cazi", I yelled. Many of the people turned back around and came torwards me. When the black monster saw all of us, united, it turned and ran back into the forest. "It looks like that monster is the scaredy-cat", Cazi said, looking pointedly at me.
Natalie looked at all of us and said, "I have a feeling that the monster will come back. We need to be prepared next time. We also need supplies. I'll divide us into sections: the food hunters, the water gatherers, the weapon creators, the shelter builders and the lookout team. Siq and Ira, you'll be working on finding water. Harmony, Cazi and I will find food. You, you, and you will be the weapon creators. You and you are the shelter builders. And you'll be the lookout".
I was supposed to look for food with Natalie and Cazi. It seemed like Cazi and I got off on the wrong foot, so I hoped working together with Natalie would make the tension go away.

Nat ~
I was glad the thing was gone, but I knew it and friends would be back. I kept a sharp eye out as we scavenged. I glanced at the girl next to me, Harmony.
"Nice job back there," I said, impressed. She smiled back at me.
"So, Natalie, where are you from?" She asked me. "You can call me Nat. And I'm from Lyerica. It's a world of time travelers. Though, I can't time travel. At least not yet." I looked at her and Cazi. "And what about you two?"
************************************************************************
Short, but I'll let ya'll explain where you're from.
(July 9, 2013 - 1:51 pm)
Cazi~
I shrugged in response to Nat's quesion. "It's a tough question" I said. "I'm kind of everywhere. An Outcast of Space. I guess the closest thing to home is my spaceship and the closest thing to family is Sapphire and Olive. I met Sapphire when we were both roughly nine on his home planet. I think it was my home planet, and if it wasn't, I was abondoned there for a large proportion of my life. Olive is someone we met almost halfway acrosss the universe on the planet Shift. She joined us. But Sapphire hates her. I don't know why. So long story short, don't ask me where I'm from." I guess I was still feeling sore about the scardy cat thing, but I was making the long story short! Plus, I tend to trust people. Some one tells me run, I'll run. I guess I had gotten used to my friends at... home? The spaceship? You could land on Olive or Sapphire like a reflex. I guess I wanted that. I wanted to trust the people here, but I couldn't help but disliking Harmony. I didn't know why. I suppose for somewhat of the same reason Sapphire dislikes Olive.
Sorry, getting off track.
(July 9, 2013 - 5:07 pm)
Is it too late to join?
(July 13, 2013 - 2:32 pm)
I don't think so!
(July 14, 2013 - 4:43 pm)
I just realized that my response was a bit confusing. I meant that I don't think that it is too late to join. Sorry!
(July 15, 2013 - 1:59 pm)
Nope! Go right ahead!

Note: I'm changing Siq's age back to fourteen for several reasons.
Siq woke up without realising he had been asleep. The first things he noticed were his surroundings- a dense forest that was nothing like the pine forest he had just left Ivy in- and his medallion. It was back around his neck, as if he had never made the promise to Ivy. Was this... no, it couldn't be. There were several other people in the forest, but they all looked disoriented and confused. Siq doubted the gods would look so lost in their own home.
Instead of participating in the budding conversations, Siq listened. It seemed that all of the people here had come from faraway lands nothing like any of the ones he had come to. Were they from the lands beyond Ong? It was etirely possible as the world was so large no one could possibly fathom its size. Why were they all brought here? Did any of the others have medallions as well? No, Siq couldn't see many signs of them on anyone.
One girl called herself Natalie. She looked to be about Siq's age, and had blonde hari that reminded Siq painfully of Ivy's. Another girl named herself Cazi. She had what appeared to be cat's ears coming out of her head and around her neck a small sack. Siq wondered if it carried a pendant. Both girls seemed to be trying to act tough, perhaps to hide inner insecurities? There was a loud younger girl named Harmony, and, contrasting, an older quiet boy named Ira. Siq grinned. Someone, the girl Harmony, asked his name and he automatically replied, "Siq, Scholar of Wendicott." No one here knows what a Scholar is, idiot. Stop listing your titles, Siq chided himself.
Suddenly, Natalie let out an earsplitting screech. "RUN!" Siq darted off into the surrounding brush. He didn't know what he was running from. Harmony yelled loudly, "Come back here, you scaredy-cats." Being a "scardy-cat" is better than being dead, Harmony, Siq thought. A group is only as strong as the weakest link. The question is, who will be that weak link? Better yet, is this a group? It seemed that the yelling had scared off whatever danger there was. Siq crept out of his hiding spot cautiously and listened to Natalie, who appared to be taking charge. She prdered him to join up with the quiet boy, Ira, to find water. Child's play. Siq knew of a simple spell that could find the nearest bodies of water instantly.

I would love to join!
Name: Navarette Lin Isacs
Read/Written: Written for my steampunk story, she falls out of an airship and dies, and so this will pick up there.
Age: 19
Appearance: Tall with long dark brown curly hair, medium light skin, gray eyes. She wears a modified version of her official uniform, buttoned shirt with corset over and short many-layered skirt, short cloak, fingerless gloves and shin-high boots with long socks. The whole outfit is natural browns, dark red, and powdery blue. She also carries an ornamental flintlock pistol (think pirates) and a short sword.
Personality: She is the pilot of an airship, so she is a feircly protective and loyal leader, and she will risk anything to save her crew. She is also fun-loving, and if you accept her boisterous attitude you can have a ton of fun with her.

There was a flash of light, a scream, and then I was falling, falling, falling... into the oblivion, into the poidinous atmosphere, and down thousands of feet. I closed my eyes, this was not the way to go. I could not go this way, I refused.
When I next opened my eyes, I was most certainly alive. I was breathing non-poisinous air, too. I sat up, wincing at a cramp in my neck. Rubbing the back of my head, I used a tree to haul myself up and look around. I heard voices and instinctually drew myself up behind the tree, hand gripping the hilt of my short sword.
I observed the conversation warily, and watched as the monster came and left, and they all split up to search. Only after they all left did I come out from my hiding place.
"Hey!" I heard a shout from behind me.
Slowly, hand on my sword, I turned around.
