Random Thoughts/Things?

Random Thoughts/Things?

I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Aww that's terrible! I hope that you will feel better over time, it's always sad losing someone (or someanimal, I suppose) that is close. I can relate! (who knew I would get emotional over losing chickens???)

man, i love socratic seminars/fishbowl discussions. really, there is nothing i would rather be doing than struggling to articulate my thoughts to a group of teenagers whilst being scruntinized by another yet equally judgemental group of teenagers /sar :((( i have one tomorrow and i think i might throw up

Fact time! 1) A few people can actually see sounds, taste shapes and smell words. This ability, where senses blend together to create a new kind of perception, is called synesthsia. (I wish I knew someone like that...) 2) Italian artist and inventor Leonardo da Vinci often wrote in mirror writing - but no one knows why. 3) The Sami people, who live in the most northern parts of Europe, have more than 180 words to describe snow and ice.

Oh yeah lol a lot of us have synesthesia here; there was some discussion about it a few years back

I suspect myself of having a minor form of it! I associate colors with months of the year and days of the week (particularly months of the year; not every day has a color). Some of the smaller numbers also have genders and colors. 5 even has a distinct personality (she's a tomboy and much more outgoing than sweet, shy 4). Sometimes when I listen to music it feels like or literally makes me visualize a certain season, setting, or scene, as well -- I just listened to Lor's album Lowlight and it felt very winter-y and made me visualize a light house in a dark, stormy night.

Nobody seems to agree with me on this, but I insist: August is light pink.

I'm really happy right now. I got 2nd overall in my ski race, and 1st for girls. Also some kids there were so nice!

The way I can't even say a single simple "hi" to my friends... yes I am saying friends now instead of ""friends"(?)", so at least there's that (for most of them)... um anyways! Love you all all much (/p)!! I love how I can just say that randomly on here and no one thinks it's weird XD

Anyone heard of a kalimba? I've recieved one and I absoulutly love it. It is a chromatic kalimba and sounds so pretty! I'm learning to play "Swan Lake" by Tchaikovsky, (it's short and sim[le but SO pretty!). I'll post a picture (if possible and when I get my phone back :P)

Does someone relate? :D
