Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Random Thoughts/Things?

Random Thoughts/Things?

I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Interesting situation:

I was at the House of Public Relations International Cottages in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA, USA and when I was at the house of Israel, a few people acquired Israeli flags and began a chant of "Am Yisrael Chai". As I was not able to find out how to also acquire a flag, I sang along as well, but in the background. Eventually the chant made its way outside the house, to (Oops!) right near the entrance of Palestine, but the person at the entrance (presumably Palestinian) said "If we don't talk we'll never have peace so let's talk" and it was really nice we also ended up visiting EVERY SINGLE HOUSE.

You all may remember this awesome thing pangolin made a not-too-long while back?

well then, here we go~

The graph is linear, it passes the vertical line test/there is only 1 output for each input, which means that the population of the Cricket chatterbox is increasing/decreasing at a constant rate between the years of 2017-2023. There is no x-intercept of the graph, which means the population of the Cricket chatterbox has never reached 0 in the years of 2017-2023. The y-intercept of the graph is 100, which means that in the year 2017, the population of the Cricket chatterbox was (exactly?!) 100 (very unprofessional :0 here). The graph has a negative correlation (or wait is it no correlation? Uhoh...), which means that as the years go on, the population of the Cricket chatterbox is dropping. :(  There is no symmetry. The graph has a relative minima at around(2, 51), which means that in the year 2019, the population of the Cricket chatterbox was 51, relatively lower than the surrounding years. The graph has a relative maxima at around (4, 81), which means that in the year 2021, the population of the Cricket chatterbox was 81, relatively higher than the surrounding years (does anyone else notice how the graph starts coming back up during covid years? Then drops again as we figure things out more? I wonder if that could be somehow/partly related?). The graph's end behavior is decreasing towards negative infinity (wait is that how you say it?), which means that as the years pass, the population of the Cricket chatterbox will decrease. :( :(  but also remember! The graph is not totally accurate! So.

Sometimes there's nothing better than a good potty joke to cheer you up on a bad day.

Funny coincidence how two nights ago my parents just introduced me to that with the first episode. I do not get any of the references to 80s. I do not understand it except for the science-math concepts.
