Random Thoughts/Things?

Random Thoughts/Things?

I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Iffy said "dyocb" last time I commented and it was only as I submitted the comment that I realized what she meant... "die, O CB."

Twilight Princess was officially 90% more stressful, terrifying, and difficult to beat than Wind Waker, but I did it! I beat Twilight Princess!

Me too, my little sister will just decide that she's going to be annoyed with me when I haven't even talked to her that day yet :/

That's probably exactly why she's annoyed with you.

Is anyone else stuck inside because of the smoke/bad air quality? I am technically in the "sensitive" group, so I haven't been able to go outside much, and I hateeee it. I always to try to go on a walk, as close to as every day as possible, for exercise- yet I haven't been able to with the air quality recently. Is anyone else being affected by this?

I've been going outside, but the air's been terrifically hazy and I can't do anything "tiring" outside, like playing badminton. I hope it gets better soon in your area.

Just started reading I Capture the Castle, and it's so good---real, and evocative in a quiet sort of way. It reminds me of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn; both feature well-read teenage girls in the early twentieth century as narrators. I Capture the Castle is funnier, though, I think, and lighter, although it deals with some similar problems. The title really enchants me, for some reason. And the writing gives me a sort of nostalgic---or anemoic?---feeling that is deeply bedazzling. She finds the sky and the castle and the first of May romantic and beautiful-in-a-saddening way that is quite relatable to me. I posted a particularly good quote on the book quotes thread earlier today.

Idk how coherent this is, me being in my insomniac late-night contemplative state that is prone to rambling, but this is a thread for random thoughts, so here it is. Has anyone else read this?
