Okay, so I'm super late on the indie recs, but I just have to get my two cents in!
Sir Chloe
Sir Chloe has this really smouldering, slow-paced but also burning feel to her music. I'm not really sure how else to describe it lol. A few songs that I really liked of hers are Sedona, July, and Untie You.
Lucy Dacus
Oh, my gosh. Words cannot describe how much I love her music. It might just be me, but her music is sorta country-inspired, but in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE. Listen to VBS RIGHT NOW. It's so beautiful and in a strange way I really relate to it, having grown up in a pretty catholic environment. Also listen to Strange Torpedo, Night Shift, Kissing Lessons.... honestly just listen to all of her music because O M G
Phoebe Bridgers
Okay, chances are, you've probably heard of her. She sings these really sad, melancholy songs with lots of pretty guitar playing. I don't really understand her lyrics, but gosh they are so...lyrical. I like Kyoto and Smoke Signals especially.
Cavetown
Cavetowns music is really cottagecore-sounding, if that makes sense? Also his voice is super pretty! His latest album, worm food is probably my favorite thus far, though I haven't listened to all of his songs yet.
Black Polish
Black Polish is super obscure, as they only have four singles out right now(I think). But their singing voice is so pure and pretty, and I really relate to their songs :D

Last night, when I was trying to get to sleep, I saw a shadow in the corner of my room and my brain registered it as a person; instead of freaking out, though, the back of my mind just went "Oh, good. Lucy's back." Brain. WHAT THE HECK.
