I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

I've already writen over 2000 words

It's only the 2nd chapter

My word count goal is 9000

I'm never gonna finish this story in 9000 words

It's okay if you go over, just cut it down when you're editing. It's actually a lot easier to cut than it is to have to add.

Today in school we all got on a zoom with an author (Jennifer A. Nielsen) (she wrote resistance, words on fire, and other things)

AND IT WAS AWESOME

SHE TOLD US THE SECRET TO OVERCOMING WRITER'S BLOCK 

She said to just give your characters more problems. Be cruel. And she had a mug that said "Be nice to the author or else she might put you in a book and kill you"

I need that on a t-shirt
