Is Gregor from "The Metamorphosis" the real monster, or is it his family?

I have an English assignment where I have to examine why Gregor is a monster and all that, but I am low-key prepared to go to school tomorrow and argue with my teacher as to why it is absolutely the family instead.

Like yeah, he apparently looks sorta gross, but isn't there a famous saying about books and not judging based on appearance? (There is, I'm being sarcastic) He never changes from being a responsible, providing and loyal son/brother/person despite his changed looks; his core traits remain the same. And it is the family who go from being just not-very-nice, irresponsible and sorta exploitative during the beginning, to low-key losing their moral 'humanity' towards the end.

Mate. >:/

In my friend's school, marching band only counts for 1/4 of a p.e. credit.

This has led to this situation for her sophomore year of high school:

If she takes P.E., she can get a maxi,um of a 4.35 GPA. But if she takes AP music theory, she can get a maxiumum of a 3.5 GPA.

And that concludes my ted talk of why marching band should count as a sport– 

My brother and I watched a Marvel Phineas and Ferb thing the other day and now I, too, must present a Ted Talk--

EVERY THING THAT WAS WRONG WITH IT 

FIRST of all.  The heroes- Thor, Spider-Man, Hulk, and Iron Man- get their powers taken away.  And YET.  Hulk remains Hulk, not Bruce Banner.   In fact, he stays Hulk even when he's not angry.

SECOND of all.  They get their powers scrambled.  Iron Man gets Thor's powers but can't do anything because "you lift the hammer out of worthiness, not power." So why couldn't YOU lift the hammer??? Hm??? Hm???

THIRD of all.  The villians were a group: Red Skull, Whiplash, Venom, and MODOK.  WHY would they have worked together ever? ANSWER: THEY WOULDN'T.

FOURTH of all, they had Candace be an anime fan of this duck guy, Ducky Momo, and the show said Quack quack Ducky Momo-san Supahiro desu! Besides the fact that they made fun of anime, here's what's wrong with THAT.

Do you think every language in the entire world thinks ducks say quack? NO.  NO THEY DON'T. 

Even if they did, in Japanese, you CANNOT PUT TWO CONSONANTS RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER (with the exception of the n character.  Plus there's vowel devoicing but that doesn't count.)  "Quack" has the k and w sounds next to each other.

PLUS.  There are 5 vowel sounds in Japanese: A, i, u, e, o; as in Car, me, you, egg, low. The sound in quack IS NOT ONE OF THEM.

(Oh, also, you might think "Ducky" would be incorrect, but maybe not- it would be Daki, which sounds almost exactly the same, and this would be there because.. for some reason, a lot of anime has English names.  Take Sailor Moon- There, of course, are Japanese words for Sailor and Moon, but the series is named Sara Mun (Sailor Moon).)

Then, there's -san. This, TECHNICALLY, isn't incorrect but it's just in there because it sounds anime-y, and THEREFORE isn't natural and so THEREFORE I will call it incorrect.

Also, I'm not 100% sure but I THINK there should've been wa in between Momo-san and Supahiro, to make it Ducky Momo-san is a superhero!

Why I took the time to type this out, I DON'T KNOW.
