So... Hot! It

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

So... Hot! It

So... Hot! It broke a hundred today, and our house has no a/c. It's like a sauna outside, and I bet you could fry eggs on the sidewalk. Which is crazy, because we live in Washington. The lowest it's getting tonight is 70! Can you believe it? So... Does anyone have any suggestions on how to "beat the heat"? Besides swimming in the pool?

Fans. Shade. Cool showers. Drink lots of water. Sit still and read a good book. Wear a wet bathing suit all day. Eat a popsicle. Pray for clouds and rain. Watch a wintry movie with lots of snow and ice. . . .

 Good luck,

Old Cricket

The highs have been around 110 here. Thankfully, we have AC, but soccer practice has been a bit toasty lately! I agree with Ima; check to see if your library has an air conditioning. And spray yourself with the hose! :)

I don't have AC either, but this year summer isn't very warm. Right now it's 67! It's supossed to get around 85 today. Well, actually we do have AC in our house, but only in one room. My parents bedroom! they kept it all to themselves! grr! Suggestons... put an ice cube down your shirt, curse the sky (haha im just kidding), and well, if u have a cabin, perfect! Oh, another one! If you have a hose, those are perfect! Get yourself wet! yay1 Or, you could play some games that involves getting wet with friends. LIke, trying to balence a cup full of water on your head. Or, water guns!!!!!!!!!

Well, it was early in the morning :) I guess it's gets nice and cool over here at night, it's kinda nice though. You know, you can snuggle more. But if it's like 100 deggrees it'd be hard to go to sleep.
