Reunion thread! Hey everybody! Valentine's Day is coming up in less than a week. Some of you already know this, but if you don't, February 14 is a day for old CBers to come back and say hi. I know I'm a little early, but I wanted to make sure there was a centralized place for old CBers to pop up so that we're not spread across eight threads in all corners of the CB. I'll post a longer, more personal hello once this gets posted, but I wanted to leave the intro pretty short so that we don't all have to scroll through it.
Also, just so it's clear: I'm the one posting this thread, but it isn't my thread! It's just a centralized place for CBers new, old, and somewhere in between to reunite. Feel free to add your own hello's, no matter if you're a visiting or current CBer. See you on Valentine's Day! :)

Hey! I'm Viola?, ace artist. I use she/her pronouns and I'm uh. I'm in college now! Surprise, I'm old! I think I joined in summer 2017? I was on Kyngdom for a good few years before that, and I remember I didn't want to let it go... but I did, and then of course I moved on from the CB too. ...this got sad fast. Anyway.
I have my regrets, of course, but both the CB and Kyngdom have been truly very important to me. I always found this place so creatively inspiring. Even now, though I'm sure I'll never really return, I might stop by for a surefire cure for art block! Oh man, and I sure miss my AEs.
Life update: college. I'm on campus, and it's so strange and wonderful. I have a roommate! I have professors! I have... just so much reading to do! While school's in session all I do is homework and class and spending time with my friends, and then over breaks I watch mountains of TV and draw and sometimes meet up with friends. I mean, I draw all the time, but when I don't have anything else to do I sometimes draw all day. Or sew, or knit, or go for walks. I've been hoping to draw some comics, although all the reading is currently getting in the way. I've also just... gotten a lot more confident over the past few years. Which I think is cool.
And that's about all I can think to say! I'll be back again on Valentine's.

Hello! I really admire your artwork and the progress you have made. I go back to look at the picturings you did for me periodically because I love them so much. I didn't know you sew and knit; I do too!

Aah thank you!! That's really wonderful to hear. And hey, that's cool! I bet you're a better knitter than me, I had to look up how to cast on and I'll have to look up how to cast off too. It's fun though! How'd you get into it?

We all have to start somewhere! Yarn shops are a great place to go when you have trouble, the workers there are usually really helpful. What are you knitting?

Hi everyone! I'm a current CBer. I'm WordSong, pronouns they/them. I'm twelve years old and I joined the CB two years ago on valentine's day, so that's pretty cool. It's weird seing people in college on the CB, but it's pretty cool too. I think reunions are awesome. I didn't participate last year (I wasn't very active back then I don't think) but I'm very excited for valentines day so I can meet everyone! I spend most of my time on the Poetry Contest thread and the Regular Poetry thread, but also I like to check the Random Thoughts/Things thread.
I legitimately can't think of anything else to say except this is a very cool tradition and I love it.

Ahhhh! *tackle hugs everyone* There are so many absolute legends coming back...wow, it's so incredible to know that these people who I saw as wise, mysterious older figures as well, real people with real lives that keep going even after they age far out of here! Also, some of you are 15 too??
If you don't know me (although I recognize all the names so far due to my reading through the back pages) I'm Azalea, previously DoodleGirl, she/her, and I'm an artist, poet, sort-of- writer, and a lot of other things. I joined Febuary/March 2019, when I was 12, and like many, this place has been a huge part of my life since then. However, I recently posted a semi-leaving thread, but I still ghost around and I couldn't miss this awesome tradition! I'll be around this thread for as long as it's active, probably. :)
