Reunion thread! Hey everybody! Valentine's Day is coming up in less than a week. Some of you already know this, but if you don't, February 14 is a day for old CBers to come back and say hi. I know I'm a little early, but I wanted to make sure there was a centralized place for old CBers to pop up so that we're not spread across eight threads in all corners of the CB. I'll post a longer, more personal hello once this gets posted, but I wanted to leave the intro pretty short so that we don't all have to scroll through it.
Also, just so it's clear: I'm the one posting this thread, but it isn't my thread! It's just a centralized place for CBers new, old, and somewhere in between to reunite. Feel free to add your own hello's, no matter if you're a visiting or current CBer. See you on Valentine's Day! :)

Today is my CBversery!!! I joined about two years ago? I left fall of 2021 for personal reasons and due to my ever changing busy schedule (ASHDFGEIWKSDF) I will probably not come back but I'll check in! I kind of write a bit and I'm thinking about putting one of my stories here however it's not entirley pg so I may have to tweak it a bit!
I guess some facts about irl me: I cut my hair! It used to be just past my shoulders but now it's mid neck...? If that's a thing. I have bangs now too! Tomorrow officially starts tech week for our rehearsal!! I'm in the ensemble this time but honestly I dont really mind because the show is so fun!
Anyway, how are you guys???

Hey everyone! I'm quite late but I thought I'd post on here anyways just in case—I've noticed a lot of familiar names in the posts—it's nice to see many of you again!
I'm September, and I joined in April of 2016. I never officially left but probably stopped being active sometime in 2019. I'm currently a senior in high school, and will be studying English literature next year at whatever college I end up attending. A couple of school things -- I edit my school's newspaper, I'm captain of the debate team, I run cross country! And, I also have a boyfriend!
In my time on the Chatterbox, I loved ski lodges and RPs, as well as book discussion threads, and you might know me from the Happiness Challenge thread. Like many others here, the Chatterbox was an important place to me, especially in helping me foster my creativity, and I've made lifelong friends from here.

Sorry I'm late to this - I just decided to revisit CB for the first time in a few years and saw the reunion thread! I used to go by CignusMoon (I wouldn't expect anyone to recognize me).
Like a lot of the others who have posted, I'm also in high school now. Right now I am supposed to be doing homework (doing a project on the Serbian Revolution for history and comparing poems for English), but I wanted to write this. I suppose homework is the main reason I stopped spending so much time on CB, though I was never super active in the first place. However, I did spend a fair amount of time hanging out on Inkwell and read a lot of stories and RPs in that time. For me, CB was important because it was one of the first places I felt comfortable sharing my writing publicly, since I was always shy about it. I knew the CBers would be very welcoming and supportive of me, so it wasn't as scary to post a poem or story. At school next year I'm going to be writing and illustrating my own short graphic novel as part of an self-led class, so the confidence CB gave me will definitely help when I have to share it with the school!
I want to thank everyone who helped me improve my writing and gave me story ideas here, and for any current active CBers, keep this place alive! CB is so much fun and I think I'll try to check back in here a little more often to see how the community is doing. Also, Admins: sending so much love to you! You work so hard! I don't know if it's still just the two of you, but whatever the case, I really appreciate how much time you spend reading through all these posts.
Little life updates: like a lot of you, I realized in the time since I left CB that I'm probably trans (more specifically, some kind of nonbinary; though I don't exactly know what), and I'm very happy to have made many friends who are as well. I'm actually an officer in my school's GSA (gender sexuality alliance) club! I also started learning a third instrument - trombone - in addition to oboe and piano.
