Hi! Thanks for making this thread, Star :)

I'll start by introducing myself- I'm Kitten. I use she/they pronouns. I'm currently in high school. I joined the CB in April 2017 (my first post was on the Poetry Contest thread, which is still active!) and was very active for several years, off and on, until I kind of faded away over the past year or two. I never officially left, but I... pretty much left. Oops.

The CB was really special to me for a long time. It was my first experience interacting with people on the internet, and it was a really wonderful way to get introduced to that. Writing poetry for the Poetry Contest, RP entries, and ski lodges improved my writing so much. Reading what other people wrote on the CB and seeing the art they created were some of the things that really inspired me to create.

But eventually, I found other communities online and other commitments in real life, and I started to feel a little old for the CB, and I gradually spent less and less time here until I basically disappeared. But I never could bring myself to actually make a leaving thread. So... I guess this is kind of is that?

ANYWAY. Sappiness over.

Life update: I'm in high school. I'm an editor for both my school newspaper and school literary arts magazine. I'm taking three AP classes, and it's going pretty well. I wrote 30,000 words for NaNoWriMo in November and haven't touched that project since (lol). I'm involved with some amazing projects and people online, which I won't go into detail about here due to CB rules and such. I took a video production class and got a fancy video camera for Hannukah, so I've been making some short films. Lately I've been obsessed with Encanto and Shadow and Bone (the TV show, and the Six of Crows duology, not the original SaB trilogy). I've gotten into editing Wikipedia, which has actually taught me a ton about citations and verifiability. I still love kittens, and I still don't have any because my mom is allergic. I've been writing some fanfiction. I play D&D sometimes, when other people actually show up to D&D club. I've continued Irish dancing. 

I think that's about it? I will inevitably think of more things to say as soon as I press submit.

Hello! :D So, first off, I'm not returning, but I'd still like to say HI to you guys (and maybe fangirl a bit on Starseeker's writing--)

Anyway, I'm Writing_in_the_Dark, AKA Writing. I use they/xe pronouns, and as my name says, I love writing. Um, Idk what else to say! Oh, I run the MCU every alternating month, since Floof Industries left about a year ago... The other months are writen by Elsewhere, INC., some other CBers working together!

Hey guys! It's me! Catsquill (or Catsclaw, as i used for a while lol). You might remember me, you might not, but i left sometime in 2020 (two years ago!! yikes!!) because this site just wasn't for me anymore. Since then, I found a few things out about myself, so yeah. First of all, I'm transgender, in the feminine direction. I use she/her pronouns, and I go by Sabrina (though i've gone through a few other names on my way to that one.) I also discovered I liked girls. 

I'm fifteen now. I joined this site when i was... ten, i think? Very young. It's been five whole years since i joined this site and made some wonderful friends - some of whom I still talk to now - and memories. It was one of my first experiences with the internet, and I wouldn't be the same person had I not been on this site.

Unfortunately- all good things must come to an end, I suppose. I grew just a little too old for this place, and everyone here was either leaving, or much younger than me. I found other places, other communities that were better for me. This place will always have a soft spot in my heart, though.

My life update: I'm in highschool now, but still homeschooling. D&D has taken up a majority of my brainspace, and I have about three D&D campaigns going right now. I still write, but I haven't been able to finish any projects for like two years. I read a bit too, but mostly i browse youtube and stuff. I have a lot of friends - most of them queer, like me - in real life as well as online. My most recent projects have been a novel set in my homebrew D&D world, and a story about a werewolf who rides a motorbike (her name is olrich and she's one of my favorite characters). I still like cats, but my enmity towards dogs has faded a bit. My favorite colour is pink, now. I don't write with proper punctuation unless I want to seem like a cool old person (like right now).

Thanks for putting this up, Star! I popped in a few months ago but I don't think anyone noticed. To be honest, I doubt that many people would be familiar with me as I haven't been here in so long. So I'll introduce myself: I'm Cockleburr, my pronouns are they/them/their, and I was on from February 2015 until sometime in early 2019. I'm now a junior in college, studying science education and doing undergrad research in Jewish and trans studies. I am planning on being a middle school teacher! 

When I was on here, I really enjoyed RPs and Lap's Art Thread, as well as chatting around in DtE. Some cool things I did while on here: finish the Evernaught City RP, work for a LONG, dedicated time on the EVIL's Revenge RP, show off some drawings, learn how to compliment people in a way that stays with them, and make some of the greatest friends I could possibly have. The people I've stayed in touch with are folks that I'm grateful and blessed to know. Some are among my closest friends in the world. 

I might be popping in and around this week, depending on whether I have free time. Say hey if you know me-- and if you don't! I'd love to meet you folks who frequent this site currently.

I'm Mango (I think I used GreenMango more often on the CB) and I use they/them pronouns. GreenMango was apparently a very apt name as, 5 years later, green is still my favorite color (I have a green mullet and frequently wear monochromatic green outfits). It's been a while since I was active here! Feels odd to come back and think about how different everything was back then. I'm 18 now, and am currently a freshman in college. I'm studying geology, which is just so interesting! Seriously, geology is so underrated and such a cool field of study.   

Although I didn't stay for a super long time, I met some amazing people here. I definitely enjoyed seeing you guys grow and read your works as your skills developed! The friends I'm still in contact with are an amazing community and I love you all dearly <3

Hi there everyone! I'm Gracia (she/her) I think I joined the CB in 2017?! That would mean my 5 year CBversary is on Halloween... insane! I'm almost 16 years old and a sophomore in highschool. This site meant so much to me in 5th-7th grade, and I'm really glad that there's still such a strong community here. It feels so weird posting! I'm so nostalgic HAHA!! I can't wait to hear from everyone again on Valentine's Day! <3
