Reunion thread! Hey everybody! Valentine's Day is coming up in less than a week. Some of you already know this, but if you don't, February 14 is a day for old CBers to come back and say hi. I know I'm a little early, but I wanted to make sure there was a centralized place for old CBers to pop up so that we're not spread across eight threads in all corners of the CB. I'll post a longer, more personal hello once this gets posted, but I wanted to leave the intro pretty short so that we don't all have to scroll through it.
Also, just so it's clear: I'm the one posting this thread, but it isn't my thread! It's just a centralized place for CBers new, old, and somewhere in between to reunite. Feel free to add your own hello's, no matter if you're a visiting or current CBer. See you on Valentine's Day! :)

You all are like legends to me, and it is amazing to see you all again (even if you've never 'meet' me - I am one of those peeps who goes back and reads older threads)! i'm so so so late but oh
my gosh
i was just trying to procrastinate my algebra hw and then i realized it was FIVE DAYS after valentine's and now i may or may not be crying a lil bit (just because reading this thread not because i'm late lol) and
everyone here is a legend oh my gosh??? and then i saw people who were on here around the time i was (am?) returning as former cbers and it made me feel old even though i'm not ahaha
but hi, i'm lumi, joined in april of 2020 & i'm now 13 years old. my pronouns are she/her & i'm kind of in shock rn and cannot coherently form sentences :) i'm kind of floating around but also i've disappeared mostly except from random thoughts & the poetry threads. which is why i wasn't checking chirp at cricket. my calender alerts really need to work better. anyways. i'll definitely be around the reunion a bit more... punctually... next year ahaha. but. i'm still processing rn in all honesty ahaha
so i have no idea what i really want to say, and this post is very rambly and kind of has no point except to be starstruck and inform you (again) that oh my gosh, you people are legends <33

I kinda prefer just replying to other people's comments, but in case anyone wonders:
Hello all, I'm Jwyn! I joined in late 2017.
I have been homeschooled my entire life until last school year, during COVID, when I decided to try remote high school. This year I'm going to my school in-person as a junior and it has been working very well for me so far. I've made a couple of friends there *gasp* and I may or may not be one of the top students in my (albeit very small) class. I've also started a small business (not very active with it at the moment, but we're getting there) selling miscellaneous crafts I like to make, primarily crochet and needlefelt ítems. I'm still trying to narrow down what I want to do for college, as I tend to be good at a lot of different things. At the present moment I'm most interested in studying languages (to become a translator) or some kind of graphic design/business/marketing dealio. Or both. But I really like science too, so... *wallows in indecision*
As for my status on the CB, I haven't ever officially "left", I'm just sorta active on-and-off. I guess I've probably come to the point where I've "outgrown" this place, but I still really love it here and somehow always end up coming back in one way or another.
It's ridiculously late and nobody will read this. Oh well.

@sybill- hey, good to see you! theater is good times. about half of my friend group is in the musical ad we're all lost boys, so we have a lot of fun.
