Here, you can say whatever's on your chest. There WILL BE NO JUDGMENT HERE, just a few rules and one suggestion.
1. No cussing. The Admins are good at trimming, but please give them a break and replace any bad words with various words that have no negative meaning except when used emphatically.
2. Don't tell anybody off. I don't want to see any 'Nobody cares' or stuff like that.
Suggestion: You don't have to use any anonymous name. If you feel like it, I'm not going to hold you back, but the main point of this thread is so that we can come around you and uplift you, and it's kinda hard to do if we don't know who we're doing this for.
Nihil says 'uwin'. I win what?

Omigosh, Kitten that's crazy!
The Riddler, I'm so sorry about the contest. I know how it feels to be happy for your friend, but at the same time to be upset about what you got because of it. I've had it once in a school play (that really wasn't a big deal), and on test marks (today, actually. My ish-friends, but they were sitting right behind and next to me, were talking about how "I got a 99 one test, 91 another, 96 another, and now I got 99. So it's my highest mark" Next kid: "I got 111." Next kid: "I got 104." I'm like whoaaaa I got an 84. Thanks for the vote of confidence. Usually I wouldn't mind, just I'm so used to getting good marks but this year I'm finding certain studies harder becuase of teachers.)
Well, my complaint right now is that I'm actually a very talented dancer - but not in the type that I can perform in middle of nowhere. In the type that I can move insanely cool, and master moves easily, and dance really pretty and show emotion in my own way, but not in a perorming-with-real-moves-way - which is how the talented kids in my class are. So, as a result, my friends don't know that I'm talented. And this doesn't feel good.
(Plus my friends are still acting strange.)

I ranted on a different thread so I might as well repost it here.
Just one thing about homeschoolers:
We have lives too and we are social of our own accord, contrary to how some of the rest of the world sees us. Just because we're not doing your curriculum doesn't mean we're not smart, and we may even be smarter. I'm sick and tired of the sterotype of homeschoolers being stupid loners who sleep all day (well actually that part's up for debate) and never have any breaks 'cause we're so lazy we put it off until it builds up to insanity. I hate that becuase it's not true. We have a sense of responsibility and, since we don't have ten hours of schoolwork to do every day, we do have social lives. Just because we do school at home doesn't mean we're inside all the time (that too is debatable, but only because the outside world is... horrendous nowadays). I have a public schooled friend and she thinks public school is better because she gets to see her other public schooled friends, the number of which she thinks is more than what I have. This is very false. I get to see my friends too, and I have little groups of friends in every social thing I do, and that's all I need. I don't want a ton of friends.
Some of the best perks of homeschooling is that we don't have to be anywhere while we do our work. I do my school on the couch or in my bed very often. Plus, I get to do it with my pets, who are two amazing and snuggly perfect messes of dogs. I can eat while I do my work. I can listen to music or a talk show or comedy. I can do all these things that other people are missing out on, and their going to condescend me for that? I don't think so.

I never see my best friend
Phone calls and letters aren't enough.
Help.

I'm in the same position, less severe though. We get to message and stuff, but only rarely. They come back every so often, but... IDK I'd rather see them more than I do. I'll be praying for you, though.
Also @Admins why isn't God Loves You's post showing up? It's been a day.
I haven't seen it. Feel free to resubmit it.

Same. I get to message and communicate digitally with my friends a lot, which is such a blessing, and I get to visit from time to time, but it’s not enough. It doesn’t help that I don’t have any friends where I live.

Thanks for topping this! I will possibly be posting some of my own rants; we'll see. I'm also debating whether to copy over the rant I wrote on the Random Thoughts thread.
