Ask CBers Questions!
Created originally by Lilypad, I believe (Thank you, Lily!!) and brought back into existence by yours truly!
So, recently, there has been an influx of CBers joining the Chatterbox. Which is wonderful! I love, er, seeing so many new faces! I, however, don't feel like I have met you all yet or actually had a chance to converse. And, hopefully, with the help of this game, we can all get to know each other a little better. :)
The rules are simple:
~Ask CBers questions! It could be a group question directed at everyone, or it could be a question for one specific person. Use the format "@[person you are adressing]" when asking a question, so we can tell it apart from the rest of your post.
~Please stay within the guidelines that are acceptable to the CB (meaning that if the question seems too personal, the person being questioned has the right to decline), and try to include everyone! I myself will start with a group question, to make sure nobody feels left out.
~Answer a question and leave a question! That way, the game can be continuous and will (hopefully) never end!
~Have fun!!
@Everybody: Do you participate in a sport? If yes, do you enjoy it? If not, but you could choose any sport to play, what would that sport be?
(July 16, 2018 - 8:30 am)
@Viola: I do participate in a sport: Brazilian jiu-jitsu! It's really fun, and it makes me feel a lot more confident about myself. Do you do a sport?
(July 16, 2018 - 9:52 am)
I played kickball not too long ago and it was nice, but mostly I do not sports. I prefer to lie in bed all day and draw.
(July 21, 2018 - 7:22 pm)
@Agent Winter- Wow, that sounds really interesting! And I don't really do a sport, unless you count ballet. XD
@Scarlett Rose- I love your username! What's the inspiration behind it, if there is any?
(July 16, 2018 - 11:23 am)
@Vyolette I don't do any sports, being a sort of sit around the house person. But if I had to pick one, it would most likely be some form of martial arts or dancing.
@All Artists Here: Where did you get the inspiration for your art styles?
(July 16, 2018 - 1:44 pm)
@Pooki P- other artists! I love the semi-realistic way of drawing people and after drawing people and only people basically for 3 years I've developed my own style of drawing them XD EVen though I started out copying other people's drawings.
(July 20, 2018 - 11:40 pm)
Anywhere and everywhere? Everything I see influences what I draw, so I tend to seek out art that I admire in the hopes that my own art will become more like the styles I love.
(July 21, 2018 - 7:24 pm)
I am still learning, but i have darkkig stand in the poses of the carecters to get a good Idea of he body structure and think cartoons for the facial expressions and anime head.hands are rectangles with circles.
(August 9, 2018 - 12:37 pm)
I draw in mostly a realistic style. I've been trying to work on drawing people a lot lately because they're harder for me to draw then anything else. But people are also my favorite thing to draw, because I love trying to make them look like they're alive.
My inspiration for what I draw comes from everything. Be it a scene in the book I'm reading or a bird or that one couple that's holding hands in the movie theater. I can always find moments worth drawing if I just look around and observe.

-Vyolette Yes, I do. I'm on a summer swim team. It's a ton of fun. The normal season ended last Saturday actually, but I have one more week left because of divisionals. I'm going to miss it when it's gone.
(July 16, 2018 - 2:16 pm)
@Vyolette
I play soccer almost every day of the week, and squeeze in some dancing in there too.
@Everyone
What sorts of hobbies do you have? I know reading and writing will be common, but does anyone do something out of the ordinary such as rock climbing or (probably not) bungy jumping?
Also has anyone read the How to Train Your Dragon books? We need to start a fan club.
(July 16, 2018 - 5:24 pm)
@LilyPad My hobbies are, besides reading and writing, are cooking (and eating) drawing, DIY, ball-jointed dolls, light gaming, and eating people's souls (just kidding I don't do that last one)
(July 16, 2018 - 8:09 pm)
Oh, and music as a general blanket term (songwriting, composing, singing, doing covers, yatta yatta yatta)
Forgot to put that in there.
(July 16, 2018 - 8:10 pm)
READING WRITING MUSIC DRAWING SWIMIMG!!!! Uhhhhhh BREAKING MY OCS LEGS! Sitting in nature and staring into nothing! EATING!

@Pooki P: Ooh, I’m an artist, so I’ll answer your question! For my art style, a lot of it is that it just evolved over time, I guess, changing based on what I think looks good/cool. For specific inspirations, there’s this YouTuber called Kasey Golden who does drawing videos, and her style is super unique and awesome and influenced me quite a bit. She also inspired me to try using watercolors.
There’s also this tumblr artist whose page I stumbled across (I doubt I’d be allowed to post their actual handle so I won’t) and I stared at their work and my brain screeched, “THERE. THAT IS EVERYTHING YOU WANT IN AN ART STYLE” and for once, my brain was right. I didn’t copy their style, obviously, but the way I draw eyes and expressions is v highly influenced by them.
Several of y’all here on CB have inspired me as well, particularly Cockleburr (the anatomy! The dynamic poses!), Bluebird (I have literally no words), and Viola? (everything is just so fluid and pretty)!
(July 17, 2018 - 6:22 am)
-Vyolette to answer your question, yes I do sports, soccer and cross country, and yes I enjoy them.
-LilyPad aside from reading and writing, I also take voice lessons and play a few video games. I also am a precousionist in band, and I love the snare drum.
@Neko I know you play MCSM, but do you play any other video games? If you do, what are they?
@Pooki, your AEs have such unique names. Where did you get the inspiration for them?
