So this thread is about what you're going to be for Halloween and DIY tips for costumes, face painting, etc.
I'm going to be a pokemon this year and my friend will be a pokemon ball! I think it would be cool to be poochyena! But it would be WAYYYY too hard so I'm thinking an evee evolution or pikachu!
So...what are you waiting for? POST!

From past Halloween experences I always thought that people would make fun of me cus' of my costumes when really all they did was compliment me! So I say you still should have a costume. But that is my own opinion and you don't have to pay any attention to this if you don't want to.

This fall, I'm feeling rather uninspired and lazy. But I want my candy(!), and I feel somewhat obliged to work for it. So...I have decided to be an ellipsis for Halloween. I already have the huge foam blocks for it. I will just need to weigh them down so they can trail behind me more easily. This shouldn't really be a problem. My dad thinks I should be question mark instead, but I sort of like the openness/possibility of the ellipsis.

I'm either going as Queen Titania for the third Halloween or a woodland fairy. I'm wearing the same dress for either so it depends on what you call it :P I'm post probably going in my mom's old (home-sewn!) prom dress which is long, simple, flowy and dark green. Really, fancy dresses look so different nowadays...anywho, I figured I'd find something to do with my hair and then maybe sling my grandfather's quiver over my shoulder or something and wear my great grandmother's hat that I turned into a crown by accidentally ripping off the meshy top part. I made my little sister a "bunny" costume by giving her an old pink leotard, white tights, the CUTEST toole (tule? Tool?) tu-tu ever, and some adorable bunny ears. :):)
Is Queen Titania anybody else's go-to Halloween costume? Actually, what are your go-to costumes when you are making your own and almost out of materials and imagination?
